We stayed with family for my mother in law's 70th birthday and had an amazing time. The house is beautiful and spacious with lots of lovely touches. The children enjoyed playing in the garden and the views from the back of the house are wonderful. The host was very helpful and friendly and the house was very well-equipped. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful place to stay

We stayed for 4 nights, Mon to Fri with the whole family. There was everything we needed and more, and the Manager (Neil) was always available to answer any questions and help if needed. The location is perfect, far enough from towns to be peaceful, yet near enough for anything you need. On arrival there was beautiful fresh flowers still wrapped in a vase, in case we wanted to take them with us, and a very nice hamper, including drinks for our personal use. Couldn't fault it, and would definitely recommend.

Quiet location and close to broadway, large open spaces with great views. Some signs of use and would benefit from a light refurb. Unfortunately charged 236 out of the security deposit for a 10 oven knob which we believe to be faulty on arrival.

Warm and cosy rural stay

A lovely large property in a small rural village. Great facilities, everything we needed. Lots of games for everyone to play. Plenty of room for cars to park, great size garden which the kids loved playing football in. Comfy beds. Lots of bathrooms. Great coffee machine with a great selection of coffee provided. The hamper provided was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay again.

Weekend at The Farmhouse

A group of ten friends stayed over a long weekend. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped, light and spacious and in a great location. The owner was an excellent host, communication was straight forward and everything well organised. We thought it was good value for money. The only minor negative from some of the group was that the bed mattresses were not quite right for them.. Overall our stay in the the house was a great success and everyone said they would like to return.

Big birthday celebration week

All the family had a wonderful week at The Farmhouse to celebrate my 70th birthday. Neil was the perfect host providing us with all the information we required prior to arrival and was easily contactable during our stay if needed. We were greeted with a lovely hamper of goodies, flowers and thoughtful gifts which were very much appreciated. The house provided plenty of room for all of us to spread out with a very large kitchen area as the main hub that was very well equipped with all our needs with a beautiful view of the landscape. Parking was ample for 5 cars and the garden was great for the dogs. We would all totally recommend The Farmhouse for a family/friends getaway in a beautiful part of the country with nearby attractions that appealed to us all.

We had a lovely stay and the house worked very well for everybody. Whilst understanding that the property is an old farmhouse, there were several banged heads on the low beams in particular the white beam between the kitchen and the small extension at the back. We believe that this should be highlighted so that it stands out. It would have been helpful to have had instructions on kitchen appliances in particular the coffee machine.

Family get together

We were a family of 8 adults and 3 children and the house was perfect for us. Having a bathroom for each couple made life so much easier. The bathrooms are large and have everything you could wish for and the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The large living room has wonderful views over open countryside and an enclosed field leading from the garden which was perfect for our dog and children running around. The kitchen and dining area is spacious and very well equipped for a large party of people. The house is in a quiet cul de sac and over the road is a really good children’s playground- all very safe for children. The host was amazing and always responded quickly to any queries and nothing was too much trouble. A very generous welcome pack and gift were really appreciated. It was a perfect house to allow us to get all our family together and we had so much fun. Very convenient for Broadway and many other villages. We do hope to return.

Beautiful location for a weekend away

My friends and I came for the weekend to stay at the Farmhouse for my 30th and we could not have asked for more! It's perfectly located for some gorgeous local walks, the house has pretty much every amenity and extra that you could ask for with a fully equipped kitchen, and it was impeccably clean and tidy when we arrived. Neil was an incredibly generous host, leaving a beautiful hamper, bunch of flowers and a few other treats which made our stay all the more special. Neil was communicative, replying very quickly to any questions and there's a brilliant welcome booklet at the house which has a variety of suggestions of things to do in the local area. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely look to book again!

visit for a wedding

We stayed in The Farmhouse for a week and that incorporated my nieces wedding over the weekend. We had family with us for four days and 1 dog. My first impressions of the house were "what a lovely spot" and that view is to die for! The kids loved the garden to play and run around in and the adults enjoyed catching the sun with a glass of wine or two in super peaceful surroundings. We found some lovely walks (and some very steep hills), both from the house and on trips out in the car. the surrounding villages and area are beautiful. The kitchen had everything and more that you could need, and the whole house was quirky, with its wonky floors and low beans upstairs, to its "interior design type furniture in all the rooms. All the rooms were spacious and the kids loved the mezzanine bed! The beds were comfy and rooms were light. We had some fresh flowers, a hamper of sweet things and a wooden chopping board given to us which were very nice touches. Neil was very quick to answer my questions, as we had a few! We did however experience a couple of things that took away a little bit from the stay.... the towels were really hard, the taps dripped in most of the bathroom sinks, and the master bedroom shower had leaks from the seal in two places, the tumble drier didn't work, which was a pain after i had done a wash. and we had a leak from the fourth bedroom Ensuite shower which ran down and through an electric light that was on downstairs! Both of the things above were going to be looked into after we left. So although we had a lovely time i don't think we will stay there again.

Lovely house in great location

The Farmhouse is a beautiful house that feels like a family home. Neil, the owner, was really helpful answering all questions promptly. The weather was unexpectedly warm during our stay and so the outdoor furniture wasn’t really ready (the umbrellas didn’t work for example). The welcome basket and surprise were exceptional! The kitchen is very well equipped and having the basics for cooking left for use; oil, seasoning etc, was very helpful.

Excellent weekend base

A family break in this delightful house. It’s spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. We especially appreciated the “goodies” provided on our arrival. The Farmhouse worked perfectly for us - 6 adults, 2 children - for an Easter weekend break. We hope to return.

A home from home

Warm, welcoming home, in a lovely location with views for miles.. the house is well equipped, homely and the fire is wonderful for the wet and windy days in Feb. Host was excellent, responsive and informative, and added some lovely surprise touches for the celebratory weekend. All of us said we would definitely stay again.. Thank you Would be good to have a 1 pager with what to do with rubbish etc - as the online info isnt as 'to-hand' as a 1 pager in the utility room would be.

An incredible stay in the perfect Cotswold Farmhouse!

Our stay at The Farmhouse was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Neil provided exceptional customer service, ensuring that our experience was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a selection of thoughtful gifts scattered throughout the house, including a delightful hamper, bottles of wine and cider in the fridge, and plenty of other homely treats. We were celebrating my mum's 50th birthday with a group of 10, and the accommodation offered more than enough space for everyone. There are also beautiful walking routes nearby for the dogs, and a small park across the way that our little ones thoroughly enjoyed. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for your stay. We even had the pleasure of a private chef one evening, and the space proved to be the perfect setting for hosting. I couldn't recommend Neil's place more, thank you for an all round amazing trip!

House needs a proper clean!

The house was incredibly dusty and it was very quickly evident that it hadn’t been properly kept and cleaned. On the surface, it looked ok but the carpets, sofa’s, rugs and all furniture were either dirty/marked or very dusty. The duvets had marks on them and made us question whether they had been changed or not. It was really disappointing that the house was not kept in a clean condition given how much we paid. It was clean on surface level but not to a sufficient level. The owner left a basket of goodies which we were very excited about but one of our friends randomly checked the date and the goods were over a year out of date. That was just the cherry on top! Showers/bathrooms were clean enough but could do with a proper scrub. Although the location and size of the house was great, we won’t be staying here again. It is not kept as clean as it shows on the pictures. It really needs some TLC!
