Generally it was more than adequate and we enjoyed the stay helped significantly by beautiful weather. We were disappointed with the neglected garden/outdoor furniture . The conservatory did not resemble the photo on the website and could not be used as a seating area. Well equipped kitchen and good bathrooms. Overall, a good house but with shortcomings that should be addressed.

This is a lovely, clean and well equipped house. Although based on a busy high street, the location was good and close to he beach, although parking tricky at times. Nice sized bedrooms and a lovely open living space for larger families.

A lovely weekend in Shanklin
We had a lovely stay at Louise's apartment in Shanklin. The place was very spacious and in a great location. Communication with Louise was very good throughout and everyone enjoyed the stay.

I am delighted I have been given the opportunity to open up my recently renovated Victorian townhouse in this popular seaside resort on the Isle of Wight. The house has undergone major renovation including new plumbing and boiler, electrics, plasterwork and decorating. In the process I discovered wonderful and original Victorian features and I am very proud to own this spacious and comfortable property. I have visited this lovely island for over 30 years and it feels like my second home! Whatever the season, it does not cease to surprise and charm me and I hope you experience it the same way. Enjoy your stay!

Why they chose this property

nr 63 is an amazing and spacious townhouse, with wonderfully big rooms, original floorboards and high ceilings. Although in the middle of town, it is surprisingly quiet and peaceful, yet close to all amenities and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The outside space and garden is perfect for a morning coffee or a enjoy a glass to finish off your day.

What makes this property unique

The location is central, yet quiet with lovely decor and a touch of elegance. The rooms are spacious, without clutter and a fantastic space to get together with family and friends and spend quality time.
