Beautiful cottage in a peaceful setting
Court Hayes was just what I needed. A lovely neighborhood outside the hubbub, but close enough to Bourton-on-the-Water and Lower Slaughter that I could walk there. I didn't have a car and had no trouble at all. Got groceries delivered and just enjoyed the quiet beauty of the place. My host was so responsive and friendly.

Lovely Cottage in Quiet Wyk Rissington
If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy Cotswolds villages, Wyk Rissington is a great choice. We were awakened by the sound of horses hoofs passing our door, and it's quiet enough to hear the animals in the surrounding farms. You'll need a car to get to pubs and shopping in other towns, but you're close to Kingham and Lower Slaughter. The Cottage itself is cool and delightful, with a spacious garden in back which we took full advantage of. The kitchen is spacious and modern. A pleasure all around
