Exchange Cottage has been thoughtfully renovated keeping many reminders of it's past. It comfortably sleeps 4 people with two bedrooms; a downstairs super king or a lovely bright king bedroom on the top floor which can be made into a twin on request. Both bedrooms are en-suite with a large p shaped bath on the first floor. Plenty of storage space. There is a downstairs toilet. The main living area is very comfortable for four people with a dining table, lounge seating, TV and log burner. The kitchen is compact but very functional and well equipped. Outside, there is a courtyard with seating outside dining. The property is enclosed with a fence. Parking for 2 cars on the drive too.

Excellent choice. Well appointed property in a relatively quiet village in a very popular area.Everything was as advertised. The beds are extremely comfortable & 4 of us had a great 5 day stay.Easy access to nearby sights, highly recommended
The cottage was exactly as described, with an easy check in process and a lovely welcoming atmosphere (including a delicious Bakewell Tart, thank you!). We had confidence to stay here with our multiple allergies to fragrance after communicating with the responsive hosts. Northleach was a handy location to explore large areas of the Cotswolds while having a quiet location to return to at the end of the day. We also enjoyed the local shops and visiting the special church up the hill. My mum and I had a fantastic stay.

Great little property that is bigger than it looks. Everything you need and a great central location to explore the Cotswolds from.
The property was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and well equipped. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom was great for our elderly relative, who can no longer manage stairs. Northleach is well situated for visiting the Cotswolds. We visited many national trust properties within a relatively short drive. Northleach church is well worth the short walk from the cottage and we enjoyed breakfast at the Old Prison Cafe and dinner at the Wheatsheaf both in Northleach. The Budgen was very convenient for picking up grocery odds and ends All in all a delightful stay.
Really nice accommodation with quirky features reflecting the history of the building. Good sized bedrooms both en suite. Well equipped kitchen and comfy sitting and dining area. Log burning stove was great. Good to have an enclosed garden for our dog to be able to go outside without being on lead. Good pubs and handy shops in easy walking distance. An excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay,
This cottage was perfect for our stay. The hosts have really kept this property up with modern features and tons of charm. The only thing better than the accommodations was the town. Met the sweetest locals and had our fill of good food and drinks. We will absolutely be coming back to stay!
The owners were v. responsive in communication. The cottage is located in a convenient location with easy access to a plaza and attractions. The house is well-equipped of necessities. The only complaint is that there was not enough hot water for the 4 of us to take shower. There was no more hot water after 2 persons have taken their shower. The washer/dryer does not seem to be able to dry the clothes. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.
This is our second stay here and we came to tour the Cotswolds. The cottage is perfect and has everything you need, the village has a lovely restaurant within east walking distance and it is located within easy reach of visiting other local villages and towns. So much history and beautiful buildings and sights to see!
Very central to various places in the Cotswolds but such a joy to return to and to get up in each morning. Everything was there that we needed and I enjoyed the outside space to sit and read a bit and to dry some laundry. So bright and airy, roomy….we just loved Exchange Cottage and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Easy access from M5, good parking, the house was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. We loved the Northleach - it’s very picturesque. We would certainly stay again.
The location of the property was perfect to visit other areas of the Cotswolds. The property was quiet and had everything you needed to make it feel like home. The beds were so comfortable and have never slept so well. It was peaceful and relaxing and was lovely to hear the church bells even through the night. The location was ideal to explore and walk around the village and countryside. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

We loved this adorable little cottage. We would love to stay again. The little village was quintessential England. Exactly what we were looking for.
Exchange cottage was perfect for a short stay in the Cotswolds. It was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again. The setting is great, close to many of the loveliest parts of the Cotswolds,
This is a very pleasant cottage in a very pleasant village.Cleanliness is very important to me so I was happy to see how clean it was.I do, however feel the cottage is a little tired and could do with a new paint job, especially in the living room.My only other issue was the shower in the upstairs en-suite. It was nearly coming off the wall and once the pressure of the water reached the shower head, the water went everywhere. On a very positive note, the beds are very comfortable, ensuring we all slept very well.I had one small query while I was there and the owner responded very promptly with an answer.
This was the perfect location to stay out of the business of the tourist but to be in the midst of charm and the heart of Cotswolds while having easy access to the touristy areas.
The Exchange Cottage is a fabulous little gem. Was ideally situated for my day trips I had planned. Northleach is a nice little town, a couple of nice pubs, a lovely cafe & some nice independent shops. Definitely will be back.
Perfectly situated to explore the Cotswolds! The town itself is so nice to walk around and take in the history. The cottage is perfect for a small family. It was a nice touch to have coffee stocked and a supply of books and movies for a cozy night in! The garden is also so sweet and I enjoyed drinking my morning coffee and listening to the church bells. We hope to be back!
We loved everything about our stay ! We are a family of 4 adults and Elsie our dog . There are lots of walks and the locals were really welcoming , chatting to us wherever we went . North leech is very quaint and the cottage has a wonderful feel and is clearly very loved by the owners . Being less than a 5 minute walk to all you need ,coffee shop/wine bar , pubs , Budgens and a bakers there is even a pharmacy .The parking for two cars was a bonus . The old telephone exchange has everything you need For a comfortable stay. We have visited the Cotswolds lots of times but never Northleech , we will Definatly return .all in all we couldn't have wished for a better staycation Thank you so very much for our stay at the old telephone exchange it could not of been any better
It was excellent lovely home comfortable beds and had everything you needed.
The only thing I would have liked to have had was a small clothesline outside.
I would recommend the Telephone Exchange and love to stay again if in the UK
Thanks for sharing your lovely holiday house.

We booked to attend the Gold Cup at Cheltenham and do some sight seeing of the local area. The cottage was perfect, bright and clean, lovely friendly village, pubs and bars within walking distance. The host was most amiable and helpful with all my questions. We are hoping to visit again soon!
