Buiten aan Zee is a brand new holiday home on a small-scale holiday park in Sint Maarten in North Holland. The house is beautifully furnished and suitable for 6 people. You can use the facilities at the park, such as the outdoor swimming pool, the playground, the sports field and the jeu de boules court.

Layout holiday home

On the ground floor you find the cozy living room with sitting area, TV and dining table, the modern and fully equipped kitchen, a storage room and a separate toilet. The first bedroom and a bathroom with walk-in shower and double sink are also on the ground floor. Step out through the patio doors and enjoy the terrace and the completey fenced garden (with grill). On the first floor are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed and a second bathroom with a walk-in shower and a double sink. There is a separate toilet on the first floor as well.

Surroundings

The holiday home is only 6 km remote from the beach and the sea, so do not forget your bike! The surroundings are quiet, wide and green and the park is located next to 2 small lakes. The golf course is only 2 km away and Sint Maarten is an ideal starting point for a tour through North Holland. Sint Maarten is the starting point of various walking routes. Explore the cities of Schagen, Alkmaar and Amsterdam and from Den Helder you can take the boat for a day trip to the Wadden Island of Texel.

Bei Bezug des Ferienhauses war die Heizung ausgeschaltet, die Raumtemperatur lag laut Thermostat bei 10C. Die Vermietungsagentur Droomvilla war nicht erreichbar. Die Heizung wurde dann von uns eingeschaltet, jedoch konnte das Ferienhaus aufgrund der Nachtabsenkung nicht aufheizen. Am nächsten Tag kontaktierten wir die Agentur telefonisch. Ein Rückruf wurde uns zugesagt, jedoch nicht eingehalten. Das Haus wurde nie wirklich warm, obwohl wir Dromvilla mehrfach kontaktierten. Vor Ort hat sich das Problem niemand angeschaut, so dass wir letztlich zwei Tage eher abgereist sind.

Traumurlaub bei Dromvilla

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Anlage, das Haus und das Grundstück sind sehr gepflegt und zeitgemäß. Im Haus bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Das Konzept der Einrichtung ist sehr gut durchdacht und es ist alles vor Ort verfügbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden durchaus wieder bei Dromvilla buchen.

Tolle Küchenausstattung, sehr modern. Leider keine Garderobe und zu wenige Kleiderhaken, keine Ablagemöglichkeit für Kleider in den Schlafräumen. Im unteren Bad leider Heizung, Lüfter und Licht in einem Schalter zusammengefasst. Hat man das Licht eingeschaltet, lief der Lüfter noch eine halbe Stunde.

Schöne Auszeit vom Alltag

Wir durften schöne 10 Tage in dieser Anlage verbringen. Das Haus war Top nur fehlten einige Schränke wo an seine Kleidung verstauen konnte. Auf Anfrage bei der Argentur wurden wir vertröstet das die Möbel bereits bestellt worden aber noch nicht geliefert sind. Trotzdem wurde sofort jemand beauftragt um uns wenigstens provisorisch zu helfen. Ansonsten fehlte in diesem Haus an nix. Alles Top eingerichtet und von hoher Qualität. Alles war sehr sauber. Wir haben richtig schöne Tage verleben dürfen und werden bestimmt nochmal dort buchen.

Neues sehr schönes Ferienhaus (Erstbezug)

Hallo Lindy, hallo liebes Droomvilla Team, Hiermit möchten wir uns für den schönen Aufenthalt in den neuen Haus bedanken. Es war uns eine Ehre die ersten Gäste gewesen sein zu dürfen. Wie gewünscht möchten wir Ihnen Feedback zum Gebäude geben. Zuerst das Positive. Die gesamte Einrichtung einschließlich Accessoires sind sehr geschmackvoll ausgewählt. Die Küche ist perfekt, die Bäder sind sehr geräumig, die Betten sind kuschelig, das TV ist schön groß. Die Außenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt. Die Holz-Tisch-Bank ist zweckmäßig, der Grill ein Highlight und die Sitzlounge sehr gemütlich. Nachdem wir auf Nachfrage einen Sonnenschirm erhalten haben ist auch Schatten zu haben. Jetzt zum Negativen, damit Sie, bzw. das Gebäude besser werden können. Das Gebäude wurde wahrscheinlich sehr schnell errichtet, was wahrscheinlich dazu geführt hat das noch Restfeuchtigkeit in den Wänden ist, was leider zu Schimmel an den Fußleisten geführt hat, welcher nach unserer Meldung sofort entfernt wurde. Berufsbedingt (Installateur Meister) empfehle ich dieses Problem im Auge zu behalten, um größere Folgeschäden zu vermeiden. Die Dusche im EG hat leider ein sehr geringes Gefälle, was dazu führt das Wasser aus dem Duschbereich austritt und dann im entgegen gesetzten Gefälle unter den Waschtisch läuft. Der Einsatz eines Abzieher den wir extra dafür gekauft haben war notwendig. Ich empfehle die Dusche mit einer Tür auszustatten. Die Dusche im OG ist ähnlich. Der WC Papierrollenhalter im OG war bei Ankunft leider schon abgefallen, da dieser nur angeklebt war. Der Lichtschalter im WC EG ist lose, genauso wie die Steckdose der Kücheninsel. Die Abluftanlage kann nur in Stufe 3 betrieben werden. Stufe 1 und 2 sind außer Funktion. Die Schlafräume im OG haben keine Schränke oder anderweitige Ablagemöglichkeiten um Kleidung etc ablegen zu können. Zusätzliche Handtuchhaken im Bad wären sehr zweckmäßig. Die mit App zu bedienende Schliesanlage bereitet bei Ankunft Probleme, funktioniert dann aber wenn die Telefonnummern seitens des Administrator hinterlegt sind. Von 6 angemeldeten Nummern funktionierten nur 3. Vielleicht sollte vorab eine genauere Instruktion per Email erfolgen. Der Eingangsbereich von der Straße sollte nachgebessert werden, da man über die Hecke durch das Beet am PKW entlang zum Weg steigen muss. So, ich hoffe das ich nichts vergessen habe in der sehr kurzweiligen Urlaubs Zeit. Ich wünsche Ihnen weiterhin viel Erfolg LG Martin ten Bosch
