We liked the VRBO. It was walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. It was down the street a few blocks from the Colosseum and other attractions.It was as described in the pictures and we were happy with our time there.

We loved staying at Alessandra’s studio. The space is perfect for an individual or couple and is conveniently on a ground floor. We stayed for four nights and each day I noticed a new smart design detail or thoughtful touch. It is extremely well located: while it is close to great shops, restaurants and bars in Monti, the street is quiet day and night. The Colosseum and Roman Forum are about a 10 minute walk, and for attractions further afield the bus and subway stops are an easy 5-10 minute walk depending on your destination. Alessandra was so helpful and accommodating with an earlier check in after a long night of travel. We highly recommend her studio and would stay again.

Pros:Great location! Within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Really comfortable bed. I find some VRBO owners cheap out on the mattresses and they can be uncomfortable. Not the case here!Awesome communication from host. Easy check-in. Clean unit. Cons:Exceedingly small bathroom situation. There didn’t seem to be an indication of this until I reread the reviews after checking in. The unit would be near perfect except for the bathroom situation which is almost dysfunctional for two people or anyone who is a bit on the taller or larger side. No dish towels or wash cloths. That seems to be a European thing as I have experienced this before but Americans who are used to these things should be aware so they can plan ahead.Overall, it is a nice unit in a good location if you are flexible about the awkward and tiny bathroom.

Wonderful little flat central to many of the attractions of Rome. Kitchen area allowed eat in breakfast and dinners when the lunches out were a bit much. Great closet areas and on-site laundry to boot. Would stay again.

You simply cannot ask for a better host or location than Alessandra’s apartment located in the heart of EVERYTHING you want to see, do or eat in the center of Rome! Alessandra is not only the most responsive host we’ve ever had on any VRBO we’ve ever stayed at, she handled ALL of the arrangements for our transportation from Rome airport to her flat and from her flat to the cruise port in Civitavecchia. Her apartment was modern, spacious, and clean AND the bed was SO comfortable! All the tourist attractions are within easy walking distance and dozens of authentic eateries and shopping boutiques are within a 5-minute walk from the apartment. We will definitely stay there again. Worth every Euro!
