Alessandra was a wonderful host. Very responsive to all of my emails. The property is very comfortable and well located in Rome. When you go, make sure to eat at the Black Market at the end of the street.

Honeymoon Trip

Perfect location! Sleeping was peaceful, until the morning when the upstairs apartment moved at all. Seems to be to insulation to block noise from the upstairs. Overall, amazing stay.

Ideal location to walk to all sites

The remodel was a great use of space. It was nice to have 2 rooms with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. We highly recommend for a 5-day stay like we did. Bravo

Rome stay

Great little property exactly like the listing on the website. As mentioned in previous reviews, the shower is small but functional. Bed is super comfy! Great location too, so close to the Metro station - just a 4-5 minute walk. The area has plenty of bars and restaurants but the apartment itself was so quiet! Alessandra was very helpful and responsive. Check-in process was very easy. I would definitely stay here again!

Clean apartment, great location to start your sightseeing days in Rome! Communication was great throughout, check in process super easy and was provided a digital code to get in. I saw some other reviews mention noisy neighbors (?) but the two nights we stayed here we never experienced any noise issues at all. Many folks mentioned the size of the bathroom/shower, which is on the small side but it’s clearly laid out in the description . As long as you know that going into it. Great stay for us!

Great flat in a great location

Wonderful little flat central to many of the attractions of Rome. Kitchen area allowed eat in breakfast and dinners when the lunches out were a bit much. Great closet areas and on-site laundry to boot. Would stay again.

Quiet, complete, and very well located

This little apartment had everything we needed, kitchenette, separate bedroom, new interior, very private. It is easy walking distance from the Coliseum and the Forum with good restaurants nearby. But the best was how incredibly quiet it was. We couldn't even hear sirens or helicopters on the weekend of the Pope's funeral (there were many). The apartment is located on a pedestrian only alley. The host Alessandra is a good communicator and speaks English.

Perfect location!

We had 3 days in Rome before our cruise. The location was perfect for visiting Rome. Alessandra was very helpful and communication was easy. Would definitely stay in this studio again

Great location to the sites

The location is perfect for walking to all the sites, many cafes and restaurants close by, unit is very secure and felt safe at this location. Shower is very small but that was in the units description so we expected that. The bed was comfortable with the only exception was it dips in the center. We would use the property again.Unit has a washer and dryer which was a must for us since we arrived in Rome from a 16nt transatlantic cruise so we need laundry.

Perfect Place & Location

The apartment is very clean and cozy, perfect for two people. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes just steps away. Alessandra is absolutely amazing, she arranged transfers for us, allowed us to check in early and left a lot of information for us at the apartment, like good places to eat, etc. She also set us up with Susanetta to help arrange the perfect tours. My husband and I have stayed at a lot of places but Alessandra was by far the BEST host!

Great location!

This property was great! It was on a quiet street and close to all main attractions (Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon) and also close to Termini train station. Highly recommend. The host, Alessandra, was fantastic! Thank you.

Great location and apt.

Almost everything you could possibly want in a VRBO, with the exception of the bathroom and shower. They were quite small, but doable. Bed was very comfortable, quiet area to sleep, nice kitchen, loved having a washer and dryer. We walked to so many things: train station, Big Bus, Colosseum, restaurants, Saturday Markets and more. A little further walk was Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, but that did not discourage us. We would stay here again!

Rome retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alessandro's property - the apartment makes very creative use of space for an old building! We were fairly centrally located & were able to walk everywhere (Colosseum, etc). The bathroom/shower was a little snug but we could see from the pictures so it wasn't a surprise. The apartment was well equipped; check-in & check-out were very smooth and Alessandra was very helpful/responsive as a host!

Cute little place

The apartment was just as described. Perfect size for two, or maybe 2 with a small child. Alessandra was easy to reach and very helpful. We booked our airport transfer through her which made getting there so easy! It’s is on a quiet, alley type street, but there are people still coming and going on scooters. With the apartment on the ground floor there was some noise and privacy issues with that. But not a big deal. I’d stay there again. Lots to see close to the place and walkable to the Coliseum and Roman Forum.

Great little escape

This is a sweet little apartment that is perfect for just one or two people. It’s small, but it has everything you need, including a washer and dryer, and beats a hotel room. Within a 15 to 20 minute walk (realistically) from most major sites and near shopping and restaurants. The street is quiet with many of the nearby units also being VRBOs and seemingly frequented by Americans and Canadians.Alessandra was great with communication and let us get in early to drop our luggage off. She also made check in and check out a breeze, and checked in with us to make sure everything was okay, or if we needed anything.Couple of things to note: the shower is super tiny - don’t drop your soap or you’ll be opening the door just to bend down and pick it up (LOL). The washer and dryer were a blessing for us because we’d just gotten off a 15-day transatlantic cruise and desperately needed to do some laundry. It took forever because the cycles are long, but we aren’t complaining. There was a large bottle of water in the refrigerator, which was much appreciated. We weren’t a fan of the sheets, which were too scratchy for our taste; or the pillows, which were a bit hard, but that is generally personal preference.I’d highly recommend this to anyone visiting Rome and wanting a place that makes you feel like you are a part of the city and in the midst of it all.

Excellent location, great lodging

Lovely centrally located apartment. Close to many restaurants and bars and two grocery stores. On the ground floor, so no dragging luggage up many flights of stairs! Very compact and good use of a small space. Since it is essentially a dead end no-car street (it ends at a stairway down to an adjacent street) it is very quiet. Walkable to many things. It was great having the washer AND a separate dryer (some places say they have a dryer, but it is really a drying rack). As some have said, the bathroom and shower are of modest size, but it works. Alessandra was an excellent host, responding quickly and allowing us to check in early as we had to disembark the ship with nowhere else to go. She also arranged for transportation from our ship at check in and then to the airport at check out. Highly recommend!

Outstanding location in Rome

This is a nice and well equipped apartment located in Monti just a few blocks from the Roman Forums and Coliseum. Easy to reach from Fiumicino airport (Leonardo Express to Termini and B subway to Cavour station). There are plenty of coffee places (have a cappuccino at La Licata) and restaurants as well as an small market (Mercato Rioni Monti) where you can get produce, meat, poultry, fish and incredible pasta. The apartment is located at ground floor level so there is another apartment above. Depending on your upstairs neighbors you may hear noises so it is recommendable to bring ear plugs (we were at this apartment for 20 days and we did not experience any noise problem). Alessandra is a wonderful host and she responded to any of our queries within minutes. In short, I think it will be difficult to find a better property at Monti within this price range.

A perfect spot in a great location

My husband and I spent two nights at this lovely Monti apartment before flying home. It s truly a great find; well appointed, spotless and has more amenities than most VRBO accommodations I have rented (e.g. a curling iron as well as a hair dryer, a clothes dryer - very much appreciated, Netflix). The apartment is in an excellent location, just steps from the Colosseum with lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. However, if you feel the urge to cook as we did one night, all the pots and pans you need are provided. and there is a market a few blocks away. Alessandra is a very thoughtful host. There is a printed list answering all the FAQs, including what to do if the power fails. She provided coffee and creamers and wine and bottled water. We felt very well looked after! Alessandra even booked our limo to the airport for us so we could just enjoy our last day in Rome. Thank you for a great stay, Alessandra!
