Excellent location with tons of restaurants and easy walks everywhere. Dasha was super helpful and they were responsive. They let us have a later checkout since our flight was in the late afternoon. We appreciated the bottle of wine and the apartment was super cute. I would have liked a slightly softer bed, but I think I may be in the minority.

Location and accommodations are excellent.. Only downfall there is no dryer just a washer! We met the owner and she was very helpful.. Great bottle of wine was a gift .

Adorable property conveniently located near the Colosseum, Trevi fountain and just outside a metro station. Very quiet while inside with the most comfortable bed on our trip so far! Well equipped with basic necessities and a nice touch when we arrive - a bottle of wine awaited!

Excellent value and location!

We absolutely loved the location of this apartment! Close to the metro station, hip shops and restaurants, and the Colosseum! The apartment was well-appointed, had windows facing both the street and the courtyard, but is not located on a noisy street. Several great bars, restaurants, and grocery stores are close by in the neighborhood. We had everything we needed to make our trip most enjoyable and would stay there again.

A great apartment in a great neighborhood

This apartment had everything you would want. It was bright, clean and comfortably furnished. The kitchen had some basics to get you started . We especially appreciated the bottle of wine and olive oil snacks as well as the coffee. The only small drawback was the fact that the apartment was not all on one level. You had to navigate two steps down to enter the kitchen or the bathroom from the bedroom. At night, it felt like an accident waiting to happen. That said I would return here the next time I visit Rome.

Location, location, location.

The location was excellent. Everything is within walking distance. The subway is just a block away. Pharmacy is around the corner. Two pizza places, gelato, and a good italian restaurant are just a 1/2 block down the street, bakery is one block and enough restaurants to eat at a different location for every meal for a 10 day trip.I had read some previous comments about having problems with wifi. We had no issues. I streamed movies without problems. The room is on the second floor, but there is a small 1 or 2 person elevator that can be used. Communication with Dasha and the owners were fantastic. On my flight from the states to Italy, i had an unexpected medical issue during the flight to italy which caused us to adjust our arrival time. Dasha was more than accommodating and the owners came over to check on my wife who was left with all of our luggage and navigating to the apartment while I was taken to the ER via ambulance to be evaluated.Is it the Ritz Carlton? No, but the location ia ideal, and the space is larger than the typical hotel lodging that is found in europe. I whole heartedly recommend this rental to others.My only gripe is as a big guy, it would be very helpful if the toilet paper dispenser was raised. This was not an issue for my wife, nor would I imagine that it would be an issue for most people. Just a tip if you are "fluffy" like me.On a side note, avoid the tour company Carpe Diem. They were a no call-no show and then lied as to why.

A week exploring!

Great little property centrally located next to just about everything. Great little English pub down the street if you miss home or just wanna grab a soccer match for a bit. Highly recommend vila de monte a fantastic restaurant for a true Roman.

Our Perfect Honeymoon Retreat!

We booked the Romantic suite for our honeymoon and were blown away by the quality and hospitality. Upon arrival, we were offered to check our luggage while the suite was finalized. I had a to contact the rental agent and owner a few times throughout our stay, and they responded promptly and courteously. We had difficulty with the ac which was most likely caused by previous guests' abuse of the ac unit. The owners went above and beyond their obligations to remedy the issue. Future guests, please respect and abide by the recommended energy use so that we all can appreciate this suite for years to come. The suite is conveniently located near the historic center and public transportation but is off the beaten path so as to offer its guests a quiet retreat from the louder, touristy spots. It is nestled in a quaint neighborhood that is dotted with charming shops and excellent cafes and restaurants with friendly staff. The suite is quiet commodius for a European apartment and offers ample amenities. It is authentically decorated with hand painted murals which further opened the space. We enjoyed cooking meals in the well-appointed kitchen as there were several markets nearby. I must commend the owners for their courteousy and compassion throughout our stay. We also host a short-term rental and appreciate the unique experiences and personal connections you find through VRBO. Oh, but do mind the two steps down from the living room area to the bathroom & to the kitchen at night!

Monti Romantic Sunshine Maisonette

Location is ideal. We had a great stay. Things we loved: How close we were to the Cavour metro station; the quality mattress & pillows; having a washing machine and drying rack; the wonderful sound proof windows; the responsiveness and helpfulness of the staff; the vault-like apartment door and lock. The neighborhood is fun, though definitely flooded with tourists. Kitchen is a little inconvenient for short people. Bathroom is a little inconvenient for normal sized people. Placement of the toilet so close to the wall is awkward. The medicine cabinet sticks out too far compared to the small sink underneath it. The WiFi internet connection was spotty, so I do not recommend this place for business travelers who plan to do work here. For visitors using a laptop to plan activities, the internet connection is tolerable. Wife ran out of hot water twice during late morning showers. I did not encounter this during my short early morning showers.

Stay in Rome

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and the bed was very comfortable, especially after a long day of traveling around. I loved the décor and appreciated the Rome travel guides that were provided. The place was close to the train station as well as the Colosseum. Very easy to walk everywhere we needed to from here.

Gutes Appartement für zwei. Trotz Monti und Metrostation ganz ruhig mit Garten vor dem Schlafzimmer. Handtücher knapp. Mitbringen! Müllentsorgung unklar. Taschendiebe in der Metro inzwischen zu jeder Zeit ein Grauen.

Cozy apartment in a great location

My husband and I spent almost 3 weeks in this charming apartment. It's in a great location! Lots of restaurants, close to the Metro, and you can walk almost everywhere. The apartment is clean and well equipped with anything you might need.The owner greeted us and suggested places to visit. All in all we were pleased with our Rome holiday!

Parfait pour quelques jours en couple

Situation idéale pour découvrir Rome, beaucoup de sites accessibles à pied en 20mn ou moins. Bouche de métro et bus à proximité. Le quartier est très (trop ?) touristique mais en cherchant un peu, on trouve à proximité des restaurants, bars et boutiques typiquement italiens. L’appartement n’est pas très grand mais largement suffisant pour un couple. Décoration un peu désuète mais plutôt charmante. Climatisation excellente et peu bruyante. La salle de douche est correcte mais aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement.

PERFECT place! In the middle of everything, a block away from train station, air conditioning, welcome gifts, great WiFi, surrounded by restaurants, bars, shops. Cannot ask for more.

Heaven in Rome

My husband and I enjoyed 4 nights in the charming apartment. The location is ideal. From the balcony there is a lovely “secret garden” that we so enjoyed looking down on every day. Bed is comfortable and all our needs were met. Walking distance of many good restaurants and one can stroll to the coliseum in a matter of minutes. Walk to train within 150 feet. We intend to use this same apartment on our return to Rome as it more than satisfied our expectations. Small and intimate, decorated nicely. Definitely recommend.

Just The Spot

The flat in Monti was just right. Location is really great and the shop/restuarants right on the same street are fantastic. Literally walk 15 minutes in any direction and you are discovering something great. Great little flat that had all that was needed and nothing that wasn't.

Charming apartment in fantastic location

This apartment was perfect for our 10 nights in Rome! It is convenient and walkable to nearly anywhere in the city. It is just steps from the Cavour Metro station, just a minute walk to a nice supermarket, and 0.2 of mile from the Colosseum. The apartment is beautifully decorated and was impeccably clean. Plenty of towels were provided and they were good quality and generous sized. The kitchen was well-stocked with a stove, microwave, and fridge. The owners welcomed us with a bottle of wine and snacks! From the very first contact to check-out, communication was great! I had a lot of questions and I always received answers in a timely manner. They even arranged transport for us from and to the airport, which was greatly appreciated. LOVED our stay here so much and would highly recommend!
