The Cottage, Treliggon Farm, is positioned in rural hamlet 10 minute walk to the historical village of Lanivet, which is situated the centre of Cornwall with easy access to the north and south coast.
Lanivet is a picturesque Cornish village which has a traditional country pub serving locally sourced ingredients for fantastic meals, there is also a shop, fish & chip shop, hairdressers and post office and other amenities.
The historical church contains stained glass windows that mention Treliggon Farm. The farmhouse itself dates back to 17th century, the Cottage used to house farm animals until it was converted into farm workers accommodation many years ago.
The Cottage, which has been recently renovated, has a well equipped modern kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, wine cooler, fridge freezer, dishwasher, granite worktops and dining table & chairs seating for 6 + persons.
There is a well equipped games room which contains a pool table, table football and darts board. The landscaped patio provides a relaxing space to enjoy the fresh Cornish air.
The utility room has a washing machine and there is washing line in the garden, space to hang up wetsuits, and car parking at the front of the cottage.
The historic Saints Way (pilgrimage route from Padstow to Fowey) passes through Lanivet and there is easy access onto the route from The Cottage.
Lanhydrock House (National Trust) is a 5 minute drive away, as well as the historic building, there are acres of woodlands and grounds to explore.
