About this property

Our beautiful holiday cottage in the centre of Brittany,

Our beautiful holiday cottage in the centre of Brittany, France, has been converted from a traditional Brittany longere and is set in a large tranquil garden. The cottage sleeps 6, in three bedrooms, plus a child's bed or cot can be added to the master bedroom. It has been restored to the highest modern standards; it is centrally heated throughout making it an ideal holiday home in both summer and winter.

The open plan kitchen/living area has a wood burning stove, with wood supplied satellite television, CD and DVD player, with films provided. The kitchen is well appointed with full size oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.

The ground floor also has one double room with double bed and a second room with bunk beds. There is a separate shower and wc.
The 1st floor comprises solely of the master bedroom with its own spacious bathroom. A single bed or cot can be added to make this a large family room, in addition we can provide a highchair, stairgate and pushchair.

Outside there is a barbeque, outdoor dining table, chairs and loungers.

All linen and towels are provided.

Beautiful property in picturesque setting

Our family had a wonderful stay in Laniscat. The house was perfect! My daughter swung on the swing, my husband grilled, we ate a lovely dinner outside, and all four of us had a few spirited games of ping pong. The location was ideal for us: we saw a stage of Tour de France in Mur de Bretagne, just minutes down the road. We rented bikes in Gouarec, and enjoyed a nice ride along the canal, stopping in Caurel for lunch. We also spent part of one day at the lake nearby, named Lac Le Blavet, which was beautiful. We would highly recommend this cottage! The owners are super sweet, and we enjoyed their company. Hopefully we can come back!

We found this property after a two week hunt around Brittany. We love the area, Central Brittany is still relatively undiscovered. It is a hidden gem!

What makes this property unique

Brittany is a fascinating mix of spectacular coastline and ancient towns and the cottage's central locations means that so much of historic Brittany is within easy reach.
