The Barn, Park Farm near Chew Magna, Bristol

The Barn has stunning views over open countryside, with enclosed lawn and garden with a private terrace, hard wood garden furniture and BBQ. Free WiFi. under-floor heating, slate flooring except bedrooms. Dishwasher, washer/dryer. We provide crisp white bed linen and fluffy towels, soap, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, washing machine tablets and a couple of loo rolls to get you started.
The bedrooms and living room has lined heavy curtains to help keep the cottage warm in the winter and the sun out for a restful sleep in the summer.
The Barn has a twin bedroom downstairs with bathroom adjacent and the Double bedroom upstairs with a shower and WC adjacent, the extra bed is on a gallery.
The cottage is on a working arable farm with a choice of easy circular footpaths and longer walks across the Chew Valley and Mendip Hills (AONB).
Noah's Ark and Chew Valley animal parks are good for children with many National trust property's a short drive and the vibrant centre of Bristol, the old harbourside and Cabot Circus shopping easily reached.
Friday changeover during school holidays. Friday and Monday changeover otherwise.
The cottage is cleaned to the latest Covid19 protocols and approved by Visit England and the AA.

Park Farm is a working arable and grassland farm situated in the Hamlet of Norton Hawkfield in the Chew Valley.
Gary is the 3rd generation of the Sweet family to farm here, originally a Dairy Farm but moved to beef production and now mostly arable with grass made into hay for sale.
Wildlife conservation and preservation of habitat is and increasingly important role for the family with access to well made footpaths for walkers to enjoy the countryside.

Underfloor heating and superfast broadband, 1.5 miles from the historic village of Chew Magna in the Chew Valley, walks to Maes Knoll Tump an Iron Age hill fort with views across the valley and lake and towards Bristol and the Severn estuary. A short walk to Stanton Drew Stone circle and an ideal base for visiting Bristol, Bath and Wells.
