The West Wing accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped.
The location of Duchray Castle is truly beautiful, surrounded by gardens and forest we spent several days of our stay walking the local forest tracks.
Amy is a superb host who communicates very well and provided lots of information to ensure that we made the most of our stay. We had a fantastic holiday here.
Our stay at Duchray Castle Annex was very good! We all (parents and children) particularly liked the very large property, the seclusion and the special features such as the river and the chickens! Thanks to Amy and Nikolai for their hospitality
My husband and I book many vrbo’s - and had a wonderful stay at the Duchray Castle West Wing! It was in the perfect location to explore the surrounding areas, and we enjoyed returning every night to the comfort of the welcoming accommodations. Our hosts could not have been more kind or helpful. We hope to return again!
We loved our stay at Duchray Castle. The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful with plenty to do for all ages. We had a full itinerary planned for visiting the area and canceled most of it when we saw how much the castle grounds had to offer. The animals, scenery, trails, history were all nothing short of amazing. Thank you for an excellent stay and we look forward to returning again for an even longer stay.
One of our favorite places we have ever visited! After enjoying our visit so much a year ago, we returned to Scotland from the U.S. for a second visit, partly just so we could stay in the castle again. Our family enjoys the beautiful grounds, serene walks, ping pong nights in the game room, swinging on the zip line and checking in on the chickens and cows (especially seeing new baby cow Alfie). The property and grounds are so relaxing, peaceful and truly magical for getting away. Thank you for another amazing visit! This will always be a special place for our family.
The Malikov’s are fantastic hosts! Everything was perfect. From a new game room, tennis court, ponds, chickens, breathtaking views, beautiful, clean and comfortable decor…I could live here forever. The history of the property is so interesting. We hope to return someday with more of our family.
It was a magical week in Scotland! Coming home each night to Duchray Castle was magical. The property and surrounding grounds are amazing. Trails throughout for hiking, a very cool river for swimming and two wonderful hosts to top if off. Amy and Nikita are truly fabulous people and as hosts, there isn't a need that arises that they cannot handle. They made recommendations for local sights to see as well as providing insight into the history of the castle. We would highly recommend this property of you are in the area. You will not be sorry.
We spent 3 nights in the Duchray Castle annex. It was such a unique and special experience. Amy is a great host and even gave us a tour of the castle. It was nice to be able to walk around their property and even collect fresh eggs. The location worked out well for us. I would highly recommend this special place.
We had a wonderful stay in this cozy castle annex. The property is gorgeous. Lots of beautiful hiking.
