Home away from home
Jill’s place is fantastic, lovely furnishings , comfortable beds, superb shower in the Wet room and fully equipped kitchen. Unfortunately the newly constructed deck didn’t see much use because of the weather. Jill’s place is a two minute walk to the store, butcher and several pubs. Location is also accessible to lots of beautiful hikes.

Beautiful property, beautiful village
Let me start by saying everything was wonderful. The house was a nice place to stay. However, I think it's important to say that if you're disabled, this may not be the place for you. There is a set of stairs that was more than I could manage. Jill has updated her profile to mention this. But it advertises 3 baths. It does not have a bath upstairs. 2 showers downstairs. I ended up sponge bathing all week. Not ideal but I managed. Ok, that's the only negative things. Now on to the good stuff. The house was perfect in every other way. Jill was a great host and was quick to respond to any issues. Very comfortable stay and was well equipped. The village was endearing! Tiny and quaint. It was great to stay in a small town with no real commercial or chain business. (1 exception is the Co-Op grocery store). Idyllic in every way. In closing, this place is as near to perfect as possible. As far a accessibility for disabilities, be sure to contact Jill first. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

I am a busy photographer shooting landscapes & portraiture all over UK. Mother of 2 tall sons , I love the mountains and the misty sunrises over the lochs, that have inspired many of the photographs you will see on the walls of the cottages. I love to hear about your holidays in Aberfoyle, and hope I can share the joy of this stunning area.
