Grooms Cottage - Scullery
Step back in time with our 19th Century Grooms Cottage located within the grounds of St Giles House, home to the 12th Earl of Shaftesbury. After an Award winning restoration Lord and Lady Shaftesbury decided to open up part of their home and share the magic of the Estate with the rest of the world. Paying close attention to the fabric of the building the Scullery has been furnished stylishly. Enjoy miles of unspoilt coutryside where you can walk or follow cycle routes around the estate.
The Grooms Cottage is comprised of two maisonettes that have been refurbished in an Equestrian theme with two individually designed, en-suite bedrooms each, with freestanding copper baths, separate step-in showers, king size beds with Egyptian cotton bedding, dressing gowns, hairdryers and flat screen smart TV's.
Each maisonette has its own sitting room, and a rustic, fully equipped kitchen/dining room, with tea/coffee and cooking facilities.
The Scullery is available on a self-catering basis.
A refundable damage deposit of £125 will be required with your final payment.
Free parking is available within the walled car park Overlooking thousands of acres of beautiful parkland, our accommodation is located in beautiful country side
Guests can relax in the cosy siting rooms which are furnished with an impressive collection of antiques, comfy sofas, a vast array of books, billiard table, Bluetooth speaker and an honesty bar (Riding House only).
Free Parking available in the Walled Car Park and access to certain parts of the grounds also offered to further enhance your St Giles experience..
The East and West Pepperpot Lodges are unique, one bedroom lodges with a cosy lounge, log burner, TV, fully equipped country style kitchen and outside patio area - the perfect couples getaway

Over the years St Giles House has been at the heart of politics, philosophy and social thought. It's inspired generations of people who have had influence on the world around them. The recent restoration has seen it brought back to life and become a family home once again.
