A beautiful cottage with great views near Penrith. In the Eden Valley with easy access to the Lake District & Yorkshire Dales National Park.. 1 step to entrance.

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Highchair (availiable on request). . Enclosed front garden with patio, sitting out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: One medium or two small dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead within the farm.. Outhwaite Cottage is ideal for families and friends looking for the ideal accommodation from which to have a comfortable stay in this beautiful part of Cumbria. Outhwaite Cottage is positioned on the owner’s farm, adjacent to the owner’s home, in the northern Eden Valley, and offers the ideal base from which to explore this unspoilt area whilst being additionally convenient to spend time in the northern Lake District and North Pennines. This area is on the Coast-to-Coast cycle route and offers something for cyclists of all abilities. Walkers will find paths from the door and immediate access to the picturesque landscape of this much-loved area.
Farmland and unspoilt countryside are only interrupted by the traditional villages dotted throughout. Guests exploring the area will find welcoming inns, craft bakeries and tea rooms offering a spot to break the day and take five to relax and enjoy a well-earned spot of refreshment. A short drive heading west takes guests into the Lake District National Park where Lake Ullswater and the popular market town of Keswick offer something for everyone. Alternatively, head east up to Alston, one of the highest market towns in England, which offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape, Lakeland Fells and beyond.
