About this property

Boulder Ridge Cabin -a private chalet in the woods

If you are looking for a private, quiet retreat, that's only 15 minutes from Deep Creek Lake, Wisp Resort, shopping, etc., this cabin is for you. Inside the cabin you'll find a well equipped kitchen, a large living area with a wood burner for cool evenings, a laundry room, a loft bedroom, and a bathroom with shower/tub combo. Outside there's a screened porch with chairs, a campfire area, a hammock, beautiful boulders. We've cleared a trail through the woods that leads to a bench for wildlife viewing or just relaxing.
Sleeping arrangements are a queen bed in the loft and a full pull out couch in the living room.
If you're looking for dates that are already booked, check out Fern Hill Cabin on Bear Ridge Court for available dates. It's in the same general location. Sorry no dogs at Fern Hill Cabin.
PLEASE BE ADVISED, A 4x4 OR ALL-WHEEL VEHICLE IS REQUIRED DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. I RECOMMEND NOV 1ST THROUGH APRIL 15. VISTA RIDGE DRIVE AND THE DRIVEWAY TO THE CABIN ARE ONLY PLOWED AFTER 6" OF SNOW HAS FALLEN

Garbage can be placed in large can in storage shed on front porch, or you may leave it in the cabin if it's not too odorous

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Disposable grilling trays are provided for cooking strong odorous food on the grill. Please do not cook bacon or strong smelling fish inside cabin.

Pets are not allowed on couches or beds unless visitor brings two sheets to cover the couches and queen or king size bedding for the bed.

Super cute cabin in the woods. We saw deer walking around the area from the kitchen window. Cabin was extremely well stocked - the only thing we needed was food. Couldn’t have had better hosts!

This is a wonderful private property that was cozy and inviting. It is approximately 10-15 minutes from any stores, restaurants, or activities but that was not an issue for us. The wood burning stove warmed the home very well. Its a great place to escape the daily pressures of life. We really enjoyed our time at the cabin.

This was to be our 2nd trip to Boulder Ridge, and the cabin was wonderful our first trip. Unfortunately sub-zero temperatures and heavy snow were the order during the timeline of our 2nd stay. Our host reached out beforehand and warned us of the extreme cold weather predicted, and while she reassured us the wood stove would easily keep the cabin toasty, she also offered a refund or a credit for another date. We were very grateful for this consideration! We enjoyed the cabin so much our first trip that we were happy to take a credit and we’re looking forward to returning soon!
