GREAT VALUE! The perfect cabin in the woods, 15 minutes away from Deep Creek.
Welcome to Fern Hill Cabin with a spacious living room, kitchen, a cozy loft with a queen bed and futon and private bedroom with a queen bed. On the first floor there's a full bath and on the second floor a 1/2 bath. You'll love spending time on the screened porch or just relaxing around the campfire. A short drive will get you to all the great spots the Deep Creek area has to offer. Please be advised a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle is needed for the winter months. My recommendation is from Nov. 1 to Apr. 15. Roads are plowed but the area can receive several inches of snow at any one time. Please be advised we provide no towels or linens for beds. Please bring your towels, sheets and pillowcases for queen beds (king size sheets would also work).

The communication from the hosts was great. We had a question about check out and the host responded quickly.Everything was neat and clean inside and the surrounding area was beautiful. We had a lot of fun watching the chipmunks and birds on the screened-in porch! It was very central for a lot of activities and hiking and every drive out of our cabin was beautiful. We went in early June and the mountain laurel was everywhere. It would be my first place to check availability for when we come to Deep Creek next!
We enjoyed our stay. The only issue was that we wanted to watch the NCAA Basketball tournament, but with only streaming services available on the TV, we had difficulty with that. Otherwise, the cabin was exactly as we expected it to be.
Beautiful location and a clean and lovely cabin. Perfect for our family of three. Hosts responded quickly to questions and helped us navigate some unexpected weather. We'll be back soon!
Spent Labor day weekend here, and loved every second! Had everything we needed and more. Loved walking the trail behind the house, and having coffee on the porch while the fog rolled in. A gorgeous stay, we're already planning our return!
We stayed in this cabin, a handful of times it’s definitely peace and solitude! This last trip was definitely a very nice snow trip. The snowy scenery was beautiful. The plow truck was there and even shoveled our steps to the place. Can’t asked for anything more than that. we will be planning our next trip soon.
My husband and I had a lovely stay at the cabin. It was the cleanest property we have used to date and the check in process was seamless. The weather was gloomy, but the cozy cabin made the trip no less memorable. We had everything we needed. The screened in porch was our favorite spot for coffee and watching the sunset.
We had a great time during our stay. We were conveniently located to all the places we wanted to visit while still being tucked in the woods. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. It was such a cozy, cute cabin!
The cabin was clean, cozy and well stocked. It rained for most of our trip and we hung out on the screened in porch just taking in the beautiful scenery and quiet neighborhood. Would definitely book again.
We wanted to get away with the family for a few days for spring break. This cabin was amazing. Extremely clean and comfortable. We all had an fantastic time and would absolutely come back again.
The cabin was exactly what we hoped it would be. It was cozy and quiet, yet centrally located for our weekend trip. Susan was responsive and helpful any time we had questions. We’re definitely planning to return. Thanks for everything, Susan!
Had a wonderful time at this sweet little cabin. The kitchen is well stocked, lots of cozy places to lounge and read or play board games. The beds are super comfortable. The screened in porch and fire pit made for a fun stay with lots to do. I recommend this spot for a cozy getaway in the woods.
Clean and comfortable. Semi-rural location. We went for a long walk in the woods behind the house.
