If travelling from Fishguard on the A487 once you enter the 20mph limit in Dinas Cross you'll see tennis courts on your right hand side. Take the lane opposite on your left, and follow until you see a track with two wooden signs one for Hescwm Uchaf and one for Hescwm Barn. The lane is un tarmacked so if your car is a low profile one you may be more comfortable parking at the top and walking down.

Such a lovely stay, the suggested walks and nearby beach recommendations were great, an added touch which we didn’t expect. The surrounding area and beaches are just stunning! The barn itself had everything we needed and was very comfortable and cosy with the log fire. It certainly exceeded expectations and we’ll definitely be back to explore more of the area. Lovely hosts, amazing location and quality facilities, you can’t ask for anything more.
We had a lovely long weekend at the cottage with our two dogs. We had everything we needed and more in the cozy cottage it was too mild to need to use the lovely wood burner this time, the cottage had everything you need for a good break. It was very pretty with a lovely garden and there was lots of great walking straight out the front door, to the costal path and lovely beaches.
Would highly recommend this peaceful spot for a holiday hope to come again.
We had a fantastic long weekend break at this cottage barn conversion in Dinas Cross. We did lots of home cooking and had a log-burner fire every evening. We were not short of anything. I have mobility problems, but apart from a few steps l could get around. Also, the surrounding area is really well equipped for wheelchair user, we visited three different beaches and apart form the obvious challenge of sand, all were really accessible.
We took our cocker spaniel and he loved it. The beaches and seaside especially. The cottage was dog friendly with lots of great walks - just a bit difficult with my mobility - but otherwise brilliant. The location was perfect.
We will go again.
Loved the barn. Very easy property to stay in. The barn is well equipped and clean and the beds very comfortable. Great location for dog walking with plenty to choose from straight from the door. Would stay again
