Arthur Bear is a perfect location for a perfect Dales break.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. LPG central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included, remainder at cost. Welcome pack. Front garden with, sitting-out area and garden furniture (shared with owner). Bike store. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. These two lovely apartments Arthur Bear (37992) and Eva Rose (UK37993) are set on the owner’s 4-acre grounds. The properties are situated on the outskirts of Pateley Bridge with views across the fantastic countryside and beyond. These properties ooze charm with exposed beams and stone throughout giving you that instant cottage feels as you enter. They both offer couples and friends a perfect holiday retreat whilst being ideally located to explore all that the Nidderdale and Yorkshire Dales National Parks have to offer. Arthur Bear is on the ground floor and you enter into the kitchen which is fully equipped for all your culinary needs along with a dining table ideal for sitting and having breakfast at. The living area has a warm cosy feeling and is a great place to relax in front of the wood burner on those colder evenings. The master bedroom has a plush double bed ensuring a perfect night’s sleep, there is a lovely bathroom which boasts a shower over bath and a heated towel rail. To the side of the property there is a great place to sit and have a drink al fresco style whilst taking in the stunning views which surround the property. Alternatively, there is also a small patio at the front of the apartment with a bistro set to sit and have your morning coffee.

Eva Rose is a first floor apartment and you enter into the delightful open plan living area which has a fully equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs along with a comfortable sitting area and dining table ideal for socialising. The living area has a warm cosy feeling and is a great place to relax and snuggle up in front of the wood burner on those colder evenings. The master bedroom offers a plush kingsize bed ensuring a perfect night’s sleep, there is also a lovely bathroom which presents a shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin. The main feature which sets this property apart from the rest is the stunning decked balcony which offers spectacular views over the moors and is an ideal place to sit and take it easy whilst having a glass of fizz. Locations don’t get any more perfect than Eva Rose.

There is so much to see and do in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For cyclists the Pateley Bridge to Masham route and challenging Cote de Lofthouse climb featured as part of the 2017 Tour de Yorkshire and the 2019 World Cycling Championships are also nearby. Towns close by include Pateley Bridge which is a short drive away giving you quick access to shops, café’s, restaurants and pubs. The cathedral city of Ripon is 12 miles away and, further afield, the stylish spa town of Harrogate a 30-minute drive. Nearby National Trust attractions include the magnificent Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal near Ripon and Brimham Rocks in Summerbridge.

Perfect for exploring a very beautiful part of Yorkshire. So many walks in the area around Nidderdale and Wharfdale. Also The Black Sheep Brewery at Masham was well worth a visit. Very welcoming and helpful owners Steve and Bev . Many thanks for a great week

Steve was a great host very friendly, helpful and full of information. The property was in a beautiful location with loads of wildlife. Very dog friendly and good location for touring the Yorkshire moors.
