A real treat while enjoying the delights of this lovely location, welcome to this beautiful barn conversion.. Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.

Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet, Shower Seat
First Floor:
Bedroom 2: Galleried, 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included.. Front garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Hot tub for 4 (private,) Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Galloway Farmstay - Claunch is a delightful barn conversion, tastefully furnished to an excellent standard. The open plan living/dining/kitchen is a lovely spacious area with comfortable sofas. The ground floor hosts a large kingsize bedroom and wet room whilst the stunning mezzanine level has twin beds. Please note - the stairs to the mezzanine level are steep. Of course, to add to your enjoyment at Galloway Farmstay - Claunch, is your secluded private haven in the garden – perfect for enjoying any time of day but particularly in the evening marvelling at the dark starry skies. Galloway Farmstay - Claunch is set on a working farm in a wonderful area of Southwest Scotland.
The area surrounding is breath-taking from the rugged coastlines and secluded sandy beaches and inland the Galloway Forest Park, Britain’s largest forest park with 300 square miles of wild beauty and where you will find the world renowned 7Stanes Mountain Bike Trail at Kirroughtree. There are many little harbour villages to visit like Garlieston where you can walk along the sandy beach or the Isle of Whithorn where you can sail, fish, or just sit and relax overlooking the bay. Visit Wigtown, which has officially been designated as Scotland’s National Book town with a wide range of book related businesses, a book lovers haven.
The larger town of Newton Stewart, known as the gateway to the Galloway Hills, also has many excellent shops and places to eat. Further along the coast visit the many pretty little ports like Sandhead and Portpatrick, or visit Scotland’s most southerly point, the RSPB Scotland Mull of Galloway Nature Reserve, where thousands of seabird’s nest in the cliff face during the spring and summer. For some excitement back at Galloway Farmstay - Claunch, arrange a private archery or clay pigeon shooting afternoon with Alistair! Beach 4 miles.
