Fully renovated last year, the property now features three thoughtfully designed private apartments, each furnished with care and equipped with modern amenities.

This two-bedroom apartment is ideal for those seeking both comfort and convenience. The bedrooms feature two single beds placed together, and there are two spacious bathrooms, one ensuite. Please note that the second bedroom has a fixed window that doesn’t open. A modern kitchen with all the essentials and a cozy lounge area lead directly to a private patio, where you can enjoy the tranquility of outdoor living and take in the stunning sea views.

Private parking is available behind the secure gates, shared with guests from the two other apartments.

If you’re looking for a comfortable escape with breathtaking surroundings, Villa Miramar offers the perfect setting.

## Neighborhood

Burgau and Salema are charming fishing villages nestled between Lagos and Sagres. Tucked into a small cove and protected from the wind by surrounding cliffs, Praia do Burgau offers a picturesque spot for relaxation. It’s the perfect starting point for a peaceful beach holiday or to discover the beauty of the Western Algarve. The area boasts fantastic seaside restaurants and bars, along with several stunning beaches waiting to be explored. If your ideal holiday involves soaking up the sun and swimming in clear waters, this village has everything you need.

Within a 15-minute drive, you'll find three excellent golf courses and some of the Algarve's top surfing spots. Just 8 kilometers away lies the historic town of Lagos, known for its vibrant nightlife, bustling marina, and diverse selection of shops, cafes, and restaurants. The region also offers plenty of activities, including surfing, fishing, diving, golf, tennis, and scenic hiking trails.

## Transit

Burgau is approximately a one-hour drive from Faro Airport, with convenient car rental services available directly in the airport parking lot. Traveling by train takes about 4 to 5 hours.

While public transportation is an option in the area, it is limited, so having a rental car is highly recommended for flexibility and convenience.

Parking in the region is free and plentiful, making it easy to explore the area by car.

Beautiful accommodation with great sea view, but with a few problems.

The apartment was beautiful, had a great location and the view was definitely worth its price. The furnishing of the apartment was simple but completely sufficient, however, the dishwasher was missing in the kitchen which was not previously visible in the pictures. For this reason, we often had to leave dishes in the kitchen, which is why we had quite a few ants. Unfortunately, the wifi has not really worked well, again and again you had to reconnect on the phone or you had the bad luck and it has not connected for a while. The view on the terrace was a dream as well as the bathroom and the beds. Also in the kitchen everything worked fine and we would love to come back when the problems were fixed.

Not suitable for winter stay

The location of the flat is great, beach, ocean and breathtaking cliffs as well as wonderful walks along the coastside directly accessable from the flat.There are only two rooms with windows, three rooms (1 bedroom and both bathrooms) are without any window. There is not really a heating facility, only the turned-around air condition which makes it warm within seconds, but the warmth is also gone within seconds. The flat is cold with high humidity. We stayd mid December to mid January, so flat may be ok in summer times, but definitely not in winter times. In one windows-less room a dehumidity machine was running - and it was full every day. Additionally, we had a lot of trouble with warm water which was not available for days. After some contacts with the agency, plumbers have been sent and fixed it. Kitchen is poorly equipped, no oven (no cake, no pizza, ...), cooking facility ok, but sharp knifes, slicing knifes, knife for slicing bread etc. are missing, pans and pots ok, cutlery ok. No laundry rack available, you can't dry your towels and/or bathing cloth on the terrace, inside nothing drys due to the humidity problem. No cleaning facilities (broom, hoover, ...) are available, so you can't clean the flat during a longer stay.

Além disso, considerando que é pago um valor para limpeza, não faz sentido pedirem aos hóspedes para garantir a limpeza do espaço quando saem. Além disso, quando cheguei a cozinha não estava totalmente limpa.

Die Unterkunft ist eigentlich für 4 Personen nicht geeignet. Ein Schlafzimmer hat weder Fenster noch Lüftung, für 4 Personen gibt es 1 2-er Sofa.

Lastima pero decepcionante

La habitación sin ventana no es normal aunque estaba avisada. Es impresentable que los malos olores del baño salgan al pasillo del apartamento por lo que van a toda la vivienda. Estuvimos más de dos días lavandonos la cara y los dientes en el fregadero de la cocina por estar no usable el lavabo del baño y tardaron en resolver la incidencia. El último día sin agua caliente, supongo que se agotó al llegar más huéspedes a otros apartamentos

Ruhige Lage mit herrlichem Ausblick

Man landet im Westen von Portugal zwischen den zwei kleinen, noch recht ursprünglichen kleinen Orten Salema und Burgau. Restaurants in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden. Nette Strände. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, hat eine tolle Terasse und heizt sich nicht auf, weil sie im Souterrain liegt. Was uns nicht klar war, unsere Tochter aber nicht gestört hat, ein Schlafzimmer hat kein Fenster! Im Wesentlichen ist die Wohnung recht ruhig, wenn nebenan geduscht wird, hört man das aber deutlich. Würde ich ingesamt aber noch mal buchen.

….leider hatte der 2. Schlafraum kein Fenster und war extrem muffig…. Zum Glück haben wir ihn nicht benötigt. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert.
