About this property
Steddles - Chichester - a town house that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms
This absolutely stunning designer four-bedroom detached house on a quiet road adjacent to Chichester city centre, Steddles is an ideal base for a city break or attending events at the nearby Goodwood Estate. Guests can enjoy secure off-road parking, a private garden with a sunny easterly aspect, sun loungers, a seating area, and a charcoal barbecue.
The house's professionally designed interior provides comfortable living space for families and small groups and exhibits contemporary fixings and furnishings, hotel quality bedding, and quality kitchen accessories, including Le Cruset cookware. A small games room in the garage allows kids to escape and play on the foosball table and provides ample space for bike storage.
Guests enter the house into a spacious hallway with storage for coats and shoes. The lounge provides comfortable seating, a smart TV and Sky TV with Sky Sports available, Sonos Beam and X Box, and connects to the rear garden through the bi-fold doors. The large kitchen dining area is the central feature of the property, with its purpose-built dining area, which comfortably seats eight people. The kitchen itself is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay, including a Rangemaster oven, large fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and dishwasher. The ground floor also includes a WC, a second shower room and a utility room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Each of the four bedrooms has a unique colour-themed furniture design and provides plenty of space for clothes storage. The Green Room is the master bedroom and has a super kingsize bed, wardrobe and dressing table. The Blue and Pink rooms have kingsize beds, the latter a zip and link bed which can also be configured as twins. The Ochre Room is designed as a twin bedroom and has built-in wardrobes. The large first-floor bathroom is fitted with clean tiled surfaces and heated floors and contains luxury fittings, including a double end bath and a separate walk-in shower. x2 travel cots and x2 high chairs available at the house.
Located just yards from the main shopping streets of Chichester, Steddles is ideal for groups of friends or families wishing to enjoy all the historic city and the surrounding area has to offer. You can enjoy a spot of retail therapy, an evening meal at one of Chichester selection of restaurants or visit one of the many local events and attractions. There is so much to see and do and it is all within such easy reach.
The history of Chichester dates back to beyond Roman times, but it is perhaps now most famous for its imposing cathedral, which itself is over 1,000 years old. The renowned Chichester Festival Theatre is also just a short walk away, which offers a great selection of shows throughout the year.
Other local attractions include the Goodwood Estate, known around the world for both its horse racing and the Glorious Goodwood week, as well as its motor racing events that include the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival. One of the best beaches on the south coast is located at West Wittering, to the south of Chichester. With the excellent road and rail links, it is also easy to visit the cities of Portsmouth, famous for being home to the Royal Navy, and Brighton, which has a wonderful array of shops and bars. London is also less than 2 hours away, with direct trains from Chichester to London Victoria.
