The house is located on the 3rd floor of a building of the '700 and consists of 1 bedroom with double bed with DOUBLE WINDOW ANTI-NOISE to rest well !!! 1 living room with a very comfortable 130x190 sofa bed, well-equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, large bathroom with shower.
The area is ideal for those who want to visit and learn about Florence day & night!
Everything is within walking distance: the best restaurants, taverns, shops, boutiques, markets, museums, art etc ... Welcome to discover this beautiful city '!
To reach the apartment from the Central Station Santa Maria Novella (SMN): walking ca. 15 min. By bus: take the bus nr. 6 (stop in front of the main entrance), towards Piazza San Marco - SS. Annunziata. Get off at Via della Colonna and walk to Borgo Pinti.

Perfect for our visit to Florence!

Perfect location within walking distance to everything. Clean and bright apartment with everything you need. 3 floors with no lift but if you’re luggage is light it is no problem.

The heart of Florence

Fantastic location, the host was very accommodating and thoughtful. We walked everywhere from this location including the Duomo, David, the train station, etc. We did get dinged for the the use of air conditioning $10e per day which wasn’t noted on the Vrbo listing. Definitely needed it.

Short trip to Florence

The apt. was just as described. Kati was waiting for us to arrive in early afternoon which was great we didnt have to store luggage waiting for 4pm. Kati carried my way too heavy luggage up the 53 stairs. She also ordered us a taxi for departure which was great. Loved Florence had a great 2 days.

Charming apartment in a great location!

The apartment was clean, easy to access, and in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere. Katy went above-and-beyond by meeting us there and giving us a thorough tour. She made sure we knew where everything was. We really appreciated the time she gave to make sure we were comfortable. I have no doubt that if we needed anything, she would have been right there to help. Great experience; just wish we had a few more days in beautiful Florence.

Great 1bedroom apartment.

I recently stayed 4 nights in Kati's apartment. From my first email she was very quick to respond . Kati was very welcoming on my arrival...even carried up my not so light suitcase up the 3 flights of stairs, The apartment is very central and close to the Duomo and many sights in Firenze..restaurants and bars. I did know prior to arrival there was a bar below the bedroom. The double window and earplugs definitely help with the noise. Good size apartment with all you need for your stay. Comfortable bed but some new pillows would be great..good size kitchen and lounge area. Bathroom is not huge but a good shower! Grazie Kati!!

Excellent location and comfort in Firenze

My husband and I stayed at this apartment for 4 nights in May 2018. The owner, Katy, communicated with us prior to our arrival and was at the apartment when we arrived. The apartment is on the third floor and is well located in Florence (Firenze); about 3 blocks from the Duomo. The location was easy to find and allowed for easy access to return to the apartment during the day as needed. Katy was a wonderful host and provided a good overview of the apartment and sites in Florence. The apartment is a very good size with a living area, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom; comfortable bed and all of the necessities of home. There are double glazed windows for a quite night and air conditioner if needed. Katy welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a few appetizers. We would certainly recommend staying at this apartment. Thank you for your warm hospitality Katy!!

Wonderful stay in Florence...

I have recently stayed in this lovely apartment in the historical part of Florence. It is a wonderful, lovely decorated apartment with a fabulous full size bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge area. Katy was a truly lovely hostess and answered all my enquiries before leaving Australia and was there to meet me on the day. The apartment is up some flights of stairs, but you only have to go up once and down once with your luggage, ear plugs were useful but the double glazed windows were very sound proof and after a day out exploring the beautiful area, sleep was easily obtained. The apartment was very comfortable, cozy and had everything you would need for your stay, including a welcome bottle of wine and snacks and information regarding the area and maps. The markets nearby and lovely restaurants were all on hand as were the buses if you needed to catch a bus, but within walking distance of everything nearby and all the sights. I truly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful apartment and would stay again in a heartbeat, thank you Katy, loved every minute of my stay in Firenze and hope to see you again one day....

Couldn't be better

We had a wonderful stay at Katy's appartment. Simply: It was perfect. The appartment has anyhting one needs for a pleasant stay, where as in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or living room. We didn't even had the need to swith on the fans, as it is fresh if you open the windows. It's wonderfully located, in walking distance of the centre and everything else. Florence is not very big, so you can reach by foot anywhere. As other guests wrote, there's a big supermarket in 5 minutes and a wonderful restaurant by the entrance door. There's also near to bars and discos if you like night life ;-) (We found them, Kati ! ) All we can say is that the appartment is just perfect. Tidy, clean, beautifully decored and with plenty of space for two people. Katy's welcome was warm and cheerful. She's so nice and helpful, giving indications for everything and always reachable in case of need. Thanks Kati. Tack so mycket ;-) Virginia and Salvador

Cute Apartment, Excellent Location, Great Host!

My husband and I stayed in Kati’s apartment for 6 nights in late June. Kati is great, easy to communicate with, friendly and gracious. Her apartment is even nicer then it looks in the pictures. It is spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable and spotless. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities including oils and spices, which is great if you like to cook like us. The apartment is in a fantastic location just a few minutes from the Duomo and all of the major sights of Florence. It is also within easy walking distance of the train station even with luggage in tow. Visitors in the summer months should be aware that it does get warm in the apartment, although Kati is working on getting an AC unit in the bedroom (in my opinion this addition would make the apartment perfect). Also, it is a little noisy if you have to keep the windows open (which you do if it’s warm). Lastly, you should know that it’s on the 3rd floor. It is an easy three flights, not steep, so it was not at all an issue for us but if you have problems with stairs it’s something you should know. I would absolutely stay at Kati’s apartment again, we had a wonderful time in Florence! Thank you, Kati!

Perfect place, minus the bed

Kati was a perfect host -- responsive, on-time, warm and helpful! The apartment is charming and in a prime location. Our ONLY complaint about this place is the bed. I read many, many reviews about this apartment and plenty of people comment about the bed being comfortable. These people must be used to sleeping on a hardwood floor. The bed is a thin, Ikea-like mattress on a wooden platform--no box spring. It's VERY firm. That's probably not a problem for most people but my partner has muscle issues and we're both used to sleeping on a very soft bed, so we were very uncomfortable. Also, the towels in the bathroom are pretty old and rough. Now for all the good things: Very clean and cozy, all the amenities you could want or need. Kati even provides a little basket of wine and snacks! There's a washer and Kati provides detergent so we were able to do a small load of laundry (much appreciated!). The double windows do a superb job of blocking out the street noise and the curtains keep the room dark. The location is very convenient and we highly recommend making a dinner reservation at the restaurant next door, La Giostra. Technically, the apartment is between two dining rooms of the restaurant. Kati also has a book full of other great recommendations. Also, like most buildings in Italy, there is no lift and Kati shocked me when she carried my very heavy suitcase all the way up to the 4th floor without seeming to struggle at all. Except for the firm bed, would highly recommend this apartment to anyone!

Great Little Apartment

Katy's place was adorable!! Very close to the Duomo, restaurants and shopping. Katy met us when we arrived and gave us the tour, very pleasant. She even helped us with our suitcases. Only down fall, lots of stairs to climb but after all the gelato we ate...we didn't mind the exercise!!!!

Beautiful apartment at the centre of historic Florence.

This apartment is situated right in the heart of beautiful Florence with all of the atmosphere you would expect. It is 2 minutes walk from The Duomo and there are many great restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment itself is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a short stay. It is just as you see in the photos. Kati is a wonderful host who was very concerned that we had everything we needed and could enjoy our stay to the full no hesitation in recommending. Very nice apartment.

Clean, charming, great location

Katy was very welcoming to my husband and I when we arrived. Her apartment is very clean and cute, and could not have been more conveniently located right in the center of town. The double windows basically blocked out any street noise and neither of us had problems sleeping at all. Highly recommend!

Ideal location!!

The location is ideal! Katy, our host was very helpful and so welcoming! Everything you need is available to you with this apartment. You are steps away from the Dome and most restaurants and night life. That being said, because the apartment is located on a quieter street, it is very quiet at night. I would recommend this location to anyone and will definitely go back to this same place when I return to Florence! Thank you for everything Katy!

Charming apartment in the heart of Florence

Katy was a wonderful hostess and was waiting at the apartment for our arrival. She greeted us with a friendly smile and a bottle of wine and snacks. The apartment is located a comfortable walking distance from the train station and is very close to the historical center of Florence. The apartment has all the amenities for a wonderful stay and we enjoyed making breakfast there each morning. The market, restaurants and shops are very close by. We took a day trip to Pisa during our stay and it was very easy to do from the apartment. All the major sights were easy to access from the apartment and Katy had a very organized folder to help with any questions we might have had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at her apartment and would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay. She is very communicative, so scheduling our arrival time was not an issue. We had no problems with the street noise at night, and the mosquitoes were not too active and we used Katy's bug zappers to help keep them to a minimum. We loved our stay at Katy's place and would definitely recommend it.

Perfect place in a perfect location!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Kati's apartment. She greeted us and was so kind and helpful helping us get settled into the apartment. She had a binder with all the points of interest and recommended restaurants which was extremely useful. The location couldn't be better as it is in walking distance to everything you want to see in Florence. Kati left us a bottle of wine and snacks which were great. The whole apartment was clean and tidy just like the photos and the bed was very comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay and would stay at Kati's again in a heartbeat. Samantha and Richard

Sistemazione Discreta

L'appartamento è situato in un posizione molto favorevole, in 10 minuti di passeggiata si raggiunge piazza della Signoria, in 15 minuti la stazione ferroviaria. Nel quartiere si trovano esercizi commerciali di ogni genere, molto utile. L'alloggio in se è pulito e confortevole, la cucina ben attrezzata, ma una piccola pecca è l'assenza del bidet nella stanza da bagno....la camera da letto è abbastanza spaziosa ed accessoriata, ma purtroppo l'unica finestra si affaccia sul vicolo dal quale sale un fastidioso ed insistente schiamazzo notturno dovuto alla presenza di un pub. Voglio sottolineare la cortesia e la disponibilità della padrona di casa, la Signora Katy.

Stylish apartment in great location

My girlfirend and I stayed here for 3 nights during the summer of 2015.We loved our stay here. The stylish apartment is in a great location, only minutes walk from the Duomo and 5 minutes from the Uffizi gallery.The apartment is on a quiet street which comes to life at night with a great bar and a well respected restaurant just doors down. However this stylish, clean and cosy apartment does not let the noise in. There are loads of bars and restaurants just round the corner. The apartment has everything you could need when on holiday. On arrival we met the owner, Kati, who gave us a very warm and enthusiastic welcome explaining many features of the apartment and providing lots of advice about Florence. It was great to meet Kati and its obvious she really enjoys greeting her guests. I have and will continue to recommend this aparment to friends and family.

great apartment, great location

I recently traveled through Europe and this was my favorite place I stayed by far. Kati greeted us and gave us a tour of the apartment. The kitchen was well stocked and she even had laundry detergent so we could wash some clothes. (very much needed!) The bathroom was roomy. The whole apartment was beautiful and cozy. We really enjoyed just resting and spending time in the house. The location was great. Easy walking to anywhere in the city.

Clean and cozy home away from home!

My husband and I recently stayed in this apartment in October 2015. Kati takes a great deal of pride in her unit and we really enjoyed our stay! It was clean, well decorated and cozy. We didn't cook while there, but it seemed to have all the basics you could need. There is also a washer and clothes drying rack (which really came in handy for us - Kati had detergent as well), wifi and an umbrella in case it rained. She even left us a bottle of wine! The apartment is walking distance to all the major sights. We even walked to the apartment from Firenze S.M.N. It was a little farther than around-the-corner, but we packed light and it was not an issue at all. There are several restaurants and an ATM right around the corner - very convenient. As other reviewers noted, this apartment is directly above a popular bar where patrons gather in the street below your windows at night (we were there on a weekend). However, with the double windows in the bedroom, we had no issues sleeping. Keep in mind the unit is on the 4th floor and there is no lift (packing light comes in handy again). Kati was easily available via email and text throughout our stay. We would definitely consider staying here again if we return in the future. Beautiful city! Thanks for everything, Kati!

Perfect!!!

One of our favorite places to stay during our recent (September 2015) Italy trip. Clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need and more to include coffee, paper products, toiletries, and a bottle of wine to welcome us. Close to all major sites and many restaurants with a grocery store right around the corner. Walkable from the train station. Katy greeted us at the apartment and was easily accessible by email and/or text. The noise mentioned in previous reviews has been taken care of and was not an issue. Very affordable. My words do not do justice to this lovely spot to stay in Florence.
