The flat was very cute and comfy, had some thoughtful touches including tea and coffee. In walking distance of a lot and if not, you can easily grab a bus.
Stayed here for two nights. The reason we booked this place was because they had a washer and dryer which we confirmed beforehand. Upon trying to run the dryer we found that it did not work. We messaged the host several times asking for instructions with no response besides and automated checkout email. Would choose somewhere else next time.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
Nice Property - in good location
The property itself was very nice and just a very short walk to the city center. However, communication with the owner was poor. I asked a question a few days before we checked in but didn't get an answer till day 2. No check-in details were provided - I had to repeatedly chase them by message, phone and then text. The phone number provided on Verbo for the owner did not work. I eventually managed to get through by removing the first zero between the +44 and the code. The card-operated lock on the front door was overly complicated!
We could not fault the house or its cleanliness and it's a shame that the initial lack of communication took the gloss off what would have been an ideal stay for our party.

Hi Paul, we’re delighted you enjoyed our home so much… we see your message was asking how to check in so we emailed you the check in procedure again. We don’t accept phone calls, only messages here within the app. All the questions you asked about check in was emailed to you and the information required was here on the listing so we didn’t see any reason for your constant phone calls about the extremely simple check in procedure that was already sent to you.
It’s a pity you found the door complicated as it’s the same as a hotel door, you simply hold the card up to the handle and you can hear it unlock. It really is that simple.
Thank you though for your feedback. Much appreciated.
FAMILY TOWN HOUSE (with garden & private parking)
We rented this home for the month of July, 2022. It is located in a very dangerous area of Belfast, the Shankill area. This was not mentioned in the ad. A taxi driver warned us we were in a bad area as well as a car driver whom we followed to get to the home the first day. We left after one night and told the owner we were afraid. On our return to the US, we disputed the rental payment and paid a very a generous payment for one night, and they could rent it for the rest of July to others. We are now in the second round of dispute. Also, there was no door on the shower and the water sprayed into the bathroom and we had to clean it up with towels they provided. Also, we ran out of toilet paper the first day and there was no extra. No chests of drawers for clothes were provided...only a closet. Some items can't be hung up, so you live out of your suitcase for the month. I rank this a one out of 5. If there were a zero I would rank it that. Other renters have given good reviews...I don't know how. A different expectation or standard I guess. For the amount we paid one expects safety, toilet paper, and a shower door, etc.

Hi Lorna. Tourists visit belfast to hear about the time of the troubles. Your taxi tour guide was simply explaining what happened in the area many many years ago. Not current times.
The area is very very safe. There isn’t a single person living on the street under the age of 70. This is reflected in the hundreds of fantastic 5 star revives across all our booking platforms stating how quite the area is & how friendly & helpful the neighbours are.
Your review is untrue in many different ways.
Firstly the loo roll you state wasn’t there is in the store under the stairs. (18 rolls counted)
The walk in wardrobe in the second bedroom Has more than enough hanging space. There is also extra drawer space in the 4 drawers under the beds along with a hanging rail specifically for clothes & suitcase storage.
The shower is a walk in open unit shower so no door needed as you can see in the pictures.
You mentioned the people who brought you to the house told you this was a rough area. That’s simply not true as it was myself who met you at the airport with no extra charge to bring you to the property as you began your trip in quite a flap having lost your phone so I agreed to come collect you at the airport. I explained how quiet the neighbours were being elderly. I even showed you and your husband where to get the loo roll, iron, extra towels ect.
We even got you flowers and milk as we know you had a long flight. We showed you around the entire house helping you with luggage and you were very impressed with the house and how warm it was. You even commented on how nice it was to be able to sit outside in the back garden with the garden furniture provided. It seemed like you were delighted when you checked in.
Two weeks into your stay you mailed us to tell us you had left after one night & demanded a full refund for the entire months stay.
If perhaps you had of informed us after your first night we could have relisted the property and refunded your money but it’s unfair that you left without telling us and then demanded the entire stay refunded.
We provided time stamped evidence that there was loo roll & efficient storage from our housekeeping pictures taken the morning you checked in.
Lovely newly redone 2 bed room house within easy walking distance of the Catherdal Quarter of Belfast.
Very responsive host who was quick to sort out queries.
Beds super comfy and tv in every room, even kitchen!
