The beaches of Minehead, Dunster and Blue Anchor are within easy reach and always make for a fun day out. Jump on the West Somerset Steam Railway and chug merrily through the beautiful Somerset countryside. Dulverton is just a 10 minute drive with its shops and supermarket.
The owners have received an Exmoor National Park Dark Sky Friendly business award. This is very exciting as Astro tourism is a growing component of the tourist industry. Our towns and cities create so much light pollution that most people in the UK cannot appreciate the moon, let alone the stars and planets. Exmoor, along with other remote areas of the UK run events to promote the night sky. The garden is ideal for viewing the night sky and there are two sets of Astro binoculars for guests to enjoy the starry sky. Blankets, baked potatoes and a hot drink can also be provided on request.

A lovely clean & cosy cottage with amazing views. Frances was so welcoming . The Royal Oak in the village is so friendly & the dogs were spoilt. I would certainly recommend this cottage.

We came prepared with basic food etc as we knew it was a drive to shops etc but that is the beauty of this cottage, fantastic scenery, wonderfully peaceful, head straight of the door into the countryside. Frances and Mike are lovely hosts and you will be well looked after. Tuck into tea and chocolate cake, which is a special treat from Frances, and settle into the sheltered garden to watch the wildlife.

I would certainly go back to little folly.
I would certainly go back to little folly. Frances was a very good host, The jar of jam/teabags/ milk and the the lovely fresh cake went down well. The scenery from the picture window is perfect when you are sitting at the dining table with a cup of tea, all i can say what a wonderful time we had one of the best weeks away even with the bad weather we had. Well done to Frances and Mike hope to see you in the future.
