The Nestling, 5 Victoria Cottages is a characterful cottage in Bakewell, consisting of a kitchen with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a dining room with seating for four people, a sitting room with a TV and electric woodburning stove, a utility with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The bedrooms consist of one double and one queen double, along with a family bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard and elevated terrace with lounge furniture and stunning views, plus a summerhouse and off road parking for two cars. Within 0.3 miles, you will find a shop, and a plethora of eateries. No pets and this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, bed linen, towels included. For a relaxing getaway, this charming 18th century cottages is a wonderful retreat. Note: This property has 33 steps leading down to the rear entrance and a steep internal staircase - not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Note: This property welcomes arrivals on Mondays and Fridays. Note: Children 12 years or over are welcome.

Region: The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: A charming little market town with a lovely rural feel and a nice assortment of stores, restaurants, and taverns, as well as regular farmers' markets. In the town centre, there is a historic 17th century market hall, as well as a modern recreational centre with a swimming pool. Bakewell is centrally located inside the Peak District National Park, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. Alton Towers, Britain's greatest theme park, is only a short drive away, and both the craggy Dark Peak and the softer limestone White Peak are easily accessible.

Cosy Cottage in great location.
A very comfortable, well located cottage only a few minutes from centre of Bakewell by foot. The cottage had lots of character and charm. Comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the views from the elevated garden.
