Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: St Tudy, a quaint village in North Cornwall, is nestled in a densely wooded valley beside the River Camel. St Tudy is a great starting point for exploring both the coast and the countryside, being just over seven miles from Port Isaac and a few miles from Bodmin Moor. One of the most popular 17-mile riverside bike trails in Cornwall, the Camel Trail runs from Bodmin Moor to Padstow through St Tudy, which has a tiny shop, post office and pub called the St Tudy Inn. Tintagel Castle, Pinetum Park and Pine Lodge Gardens, Lanhydrock House and Gardens, and Pencarrow House and Gardens are all nearby attractions. Visit Port Isaac, a small village with winding, tiny streets and quaint harbour views, or head farther south to Newquay, a surfing haven, or the gentler sands of Polzeath Beach.

Beautiful bungalow in peaceful setting. Overall cleanliness was good but being picky, needs feather duster over lamp shades etc to remove cobwebs. Comfy beds with good quality bedding. Needs to be a clothes horse to dry beach stuff etc when weather is not good. We ended up buying one. Didnt like the fact that the heating is controlled by the owner. You can text him and ask for heating to be put up or down but with our British weather, I would feel uncomfortable doing this regularly. Couldnt get the 'normal' TV channels on the TV but you can connect your phone to the TV to watch. Cinema room was great for the kids to watch what they wanted. Never without a toilet being available with five to choose from! Great size baths to relax in. Owner quick to respond
