Great accommodation with fantastic views

Alkis house is perfectly positioned to make the most of Marathonas Beach and minutes away from a number of excellent Tavernas. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable with everything we needed We particularly appreciated the large balcony affording uninterrupted views of the sea and surrounding islands We had one minor problem but it was resolved as soon as we raised it by the owner Would highly recommend this accommodation

The host was friendly and responsive but unfortunately not on site. There were several issues we encountered: light bulbs that needed to be replaced on balcony/deck and bathroom; lukewarm/cold showers initially as there was a wiring issue with solar panel. These issues were eventually resolved halfway into our stay. Additionally, the cleaning service did not do a good job cleaning the apartment prior to our arrival and towels although washed were stained. The apartment was probably nice initially, but it needs a few upgrades i.e. bathroom mirror damaged and the bed frames (one had a hole in it). The mattresses should all be replaced as they were very uncomfortable.Ideally, this apartment is best for 2 people and not 4 (even with two kids: teenager and preadolescent)
