A regular comment from many guests is that Pinecroft feels like a home.
Situated in a nice residential area Pinecroft provides plenty of privacy. Outside you will find a long driveway with parking for 3+ cars. There is also an EV charging facility. There are mature gardens all around with large patio areas on different levels. There is a purpose built BBQ area and also a bike shelter with secure anchor points. There are a few water features including a lovely fish pond which is less than 3' deep and surrounded by shrubs. Views from the patio and the dining room are wonderful as you look west over Keswick to towards Grisedale Pike where the sun sets. The main large level patio area extends from the driveway up to and around the property, this is a major improvement with beautiful new slip resistant paving making the access step free (see photo's) and much easier for those with mobility concerns. There are plenty of seating areas to enjoy. The main garden / patio area gets afternoon and evening sunshine.

Reviews..... Please note that over the last 18 months PC was in the hands of a local letting agency but is now run, once again directly by the owner. Vrbo reviews are mainly prior to this time however guests can be assured that recent reviews on another letting site have all been highly complimentary, 4.9*.

Location. Pinecroft is on the eastern side of Keswick close to main road routes and 20 minute walk into the town centre which can be taken, mainly, on the old railway line footpath.

Transport... Conveniently and just about 100 meters away is a bus stop where you can catch a bus to take you into town or further west and, just abit further and around the corner there is another bus stop for those wanting a day trip to the South Lakes, Ambleside etc.

About the host

Host profile image
Born in Keswick many years ago, returning home in the early nineties after serving in the British Army, I am now retired after 23 years owning a local business offering mid to high end furnishings from curtains to fitted kitchens. Great pride is taken as year on year I improve Pinecroft to ensure my guests are pleased with their choice. Try to keep it relaxed and meet guests on arrival if I can.

Why they chose this property

I'm a local lad, born and raised in Keswick and except for 13 years away serving in the British Army have lived in Keswick all my life. Pinecroft has been in my family since the 1960s and is where I will one day retire. Hence guests can understand why I take such care and pride in the property and why every year I try to improve things.

What makes this property unique

Pinecroft is deceptive as it is tucked away in its own gardens and everyone is nicely surprised when finding their way around and the view which is quite unexpected. It has been designed deliberately for relaxation with quality fittings throughout. The large walk in shower is lovely and refreshing and the steel bath allows for a long soak if you prefer. The bath even acts as a speaker for your music (ask owner). Original paintings on every wall to be admired. Outside there are different patio areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine. BBQ area is quite unique, In Nov 2025 a new dedicated EV charging facility has been added.
