Owls hooting at night. Coyotes howling in the distance. Birds chirping during the day. We invite you to discover what farm life is like. Just don't get insulted if we ask you to pitch in on a round up... Plus, we can help set up a winery excursion! Visit the three main wineries in St. Jo. You won't believe your are still in Texas! So much to do while visiting Thistle House.

Views out every window make this charming home fun to stay in. Enjoy some wine on the back patio as the sun sets over the pond and fountain. Need groceries delivered? Tom Thumb Grocery Store will deliver through the Insta-Cart app! Grill up your dinner on the charcoal or gas grill and enjoy eating outside under the bright stars. Light a fire at the pond and kick back, relax and enjoy life. Grab a basket and pick Pecans in the grove. Follow the creek and hunt for arrowheads. Don't worry if the horses or cattle come for a visit. They just want to welcome you to Thornbridge Hill Ranch. Maximum of 2, well behaved dogs, are welcome.
