The house is set in a beautiful location, 30 seconds from sprawling Harlyn Bay, one of Cornwall's safest and best family beaches, with its rock pools, granite cliffs and calm waters. The beach is also home to an open air cafe and surf school. The house sits a convenient ten minute drive from Padstow and a Tesco. Rick Stein's Cornish Arms and the award winning Pig are both a 3 minute drive away. The house and beach are both dog friendly all year round, making it a perfect family getaway.

Our best trip to Cornwall yet!

We have been to Cornwall quite a few times over the years and find it hard to find a place that suits us all. This property is fantastic. Right on the beach and close to everything near by. Our young children have additional needs and they absolutely loved it. We were able to explore and come back to relax. We will be booking again.

Just what we wanted

We stayed here for a week in early July (my parents, me, my two children and my dog). The house is lovely - very well equipped and nice decor - and in a brilliant location for Harlyn beach. We didn’t go far during the week. There are a couple of beach restaurants at Harlyn for burgers and pizzas, the Lobster Shed at the Pig, and shops for groceries in St Merryn up the road. We had some surf lessons and did some lovely coastal walks. It’s v close to Padstow if you want to mooch around a town. We also had a lovely meal at the Prawn on the Lawn pop-up at Barnabys on a vineyard 10 min south.

The cottage has been a holiday let for over 14 years. We are new owners and have put our own individual stamp on the place and think it looks lovely. We stay there lots with our 3 children and Millie, the Cavapoo. The cottages proximity to the beach is fabulous and the beach itself is beautiful, flat and has great surf. We found Harlyn in lockdown when we holidayed in the area and fell in love. if you decide to stay with us, you will too.

The house is set in the perfect location for beach lovers, surfers, walkers, foodies and Cornwall lovers in general. The perfect destination to bring pets and children.
