About this property

Stylish Apartment with Roof Terrace

Beautiful spacious apartment above an art gallery on Pateley Bridge High Street. You enter the property through a covered lobby area which is really useful for drying damp clothing and boots and there is also a bike rack for up to four bikes. The lobby can be locked so provides a secure location to store equipment. The apartment is very comfortably furnished with living room and separate dining room, kitchen, bathroom and double bedroom on the first floor; open stairs to the second floor where you’ll find the king size bedroom, morning room, shower room and terrace with barbecue which overlooks ancient roof tops. There is also the third bedroom which can be a single, twin or super king sized bed. All local amenities, shops and cafes are close by and there are multiple walks of varying distances right from the door. Dogs are welcome! Whilst we prefer that dogs are not to go on to furniture, we do realise that some of our furry visitors may be used to finding the most comfy spots. In this instance, please use the throws in the basket in the dining room to cover the sofas and/or the beds. There are also towels left in the lobby for drying down wet hounds before they come back in. We want you to feel totally at home and in return we just ask you to do us this courtesy. Travel cot and high chair available.

A Perfect Stay!
This property is perfect in every way. Location, layout, cleanliness, furnishings and friendliness. I highly recommend it to anyone or any group wishing at stay in this beautiful part of the UK.

Beautiful property, lovely host.
This was the second booking I made for Pateley Bridge after I received an unwelcoming message from the host of the first booking. This was quite the contrast, after booking this property I received a very sweet message from the host. She explained in detail the directions, available parking and other details often overlooked. She made sure we had everything we could need for our stay and asked me to let her know what else we would need. On top of the super host the property was gorgeous, it was very well kept and the bedding and towels smelled fresh. We will absolutely be booking again. I just hope it’s not booked already when we’re next in town!

Rabbit warren of a duplex with amazing roof top terrace which was even sat on in late October. Defo recommended for a larger family as well as multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.

Pateley revisited
This central location was a spacious house with lots of room. It was well equipped with everything you would need and tasteful decor. There were lovely views over Nidderdale from the balcony. We had a relaxing holiday and would definitely stay here again.

My husband George and I moved up to North Yorkshire from Norfolk four years ago and we love it here. We live 10 miles from Pateley Bridge but work in the local area. We have three dogs so we understand the need to feel at home on holiday with pets.

Why they chose this property

We bought the property a year ago and poured a lot of hard work into it to get it ready for visitors. We have even stayed there ourselves when we had an extended power cut at our home. We think the building has a really lovely feel to it and it’s incredibly important to us that visitors feel totally comfortable. This property is suitable for families, hikers, cyclists, pet owners - we have tried to think of most scenarios!

What makes this property unique

The location and style of Serendipity are unique characteristics. Being able to sit above the High Street in the bay window with a cup of something and people watch is great! Also, to have the roof terrace overlooking the old roofs, chimneys and further out towards Nidderdale is magic. We have furnished the apartment so it is comfortable and relaxing. There is a secure area for storing bikes, wet clothing and boots; and a dog drying area.
