Perfect location to explore the southern part of the Yorkshire Dales.
Lovely cottage with great pub literally over the road. Good food & ale & hospitality second to none.
Thank you Krystal for a wonderful stay.
We had a great weeks stay. The house is really comfortable and gorgeously decorated. We especially enjoyed the roll top bath and the fire! We also really enjoyed the pub literally opposite! Definitely would recommend!

Thank you so much for your kind words, I’m so glad you enjoyed your time with us in Embsay. Many thanks!
The claw foot deep tub with relaxing bath salts was much appreciated after our wet weather walks.
The convenience of a proper pub literally across the street cannot be overstated. Folks were friendly and the dogs were even friendlier.

Hi Diana,
Im so glad you enjoyed your stay in our cottage in our lovely corner of the world. We hope to see you again some day, thank you!
We stayed at the lovely Lovejoy cottage while attending our daughter’s wedding down at Bolton Abbey. The details about the property were sent to us well in advance of our stay and check in was a very simple process. The cottage itself is well equipped and super clean, located opposite the local pub and within easy walking distance of Skipton.Even being opposite a quite busy pub the area is still very quiet. Definitely recommend
Great house in very convenient location close to Skipton but far enough out so you feel that you are still in the countryside. Superb decoration and furnishings with good sized rooms. Could do with some larger serving bowls and few basics like cooking oil & salt but other than that is highly recommended.Perfect for five people. Bolton Abbey, Hesketh Farm Park and Skipton itself all worth a visit and nearby. Friendly village with shop and two pubs in eady walking distance.
We wanted to stay longer! Setting is great and so close to Skipton, that is charming. The home looks likes it was decorated by a designer that specializes in coziness. The master bathroom is one of its best features. I don’t remember seeing pictures of it. You should add master bath pictures! Clean Too!
We found great evening walks too. We will be back!
