Lovely cozy cottage that has everything you need.

Lovely cozy cottage that has everything you need. Set in a beautiful, tranquil location with views across to the Tor. Sitting out on the verandah with a cup of tea watching the sun set and listening to the birds sing in the garden was wonderful. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

We really enjoyed meeting Tim who showed us around Walnut Lodge and he and Laura can be emmensly proud of their creation. The complementary bottles from a local brewery were much appreciated and unexpected. For people visiting Somerset for the first time it would be an ideal location for exploring Wells / Glastonbury / Cheddar Gorge & Wooky Hole etc. In our case we explored different attractions and each evening we appreciated getting back to Walnut Lodge, viewing Glastonbury Tor from seats on the veranda with a drink in hand and appreciating the birdsounds and immaculate garden & surroundings. Comfortable bed. Sadly we were unable to extend our stay due to family commitments.
