A wonderful clean townhouse! 5 kids and a pool out the back door made some busy days, but allowed for some restful nights!! I would definitely recommend it!!

The condo was conveniently located near the pool and playground, which my kiddos loved! The beds and pillows were comfy. The condo was very clean! The company Padre Escapes, who manages the condo, is outstanding! Great communication by text and email. We arrived earlier than we planned and reached out to inquire about an early check in. The condo was available and we were able to add that option the morning of. Wow! Overall, one of the best places we have stayed. From booking to checkout, everything was excellent!

Was very clean and when we noticed the ice machine wasn’t dispensing they fixed right away. Is a short walk to the beach but, you can get a beach pass at the gas station and park on the beach which is awesome

Great stay

We had a great time enjoyed the fact the pool was right outside our back door! Had a little trouble getting into the room but they were so helpful and our stay was great could have used more pots and pans but other than that great stay and service!

We love Village at the Beach!

This condo is great and has more sleeping room than advertised. The condo was amazing, updated and has every amenity you could need for an extended stay. We would definitely stay here or with this company again!

Perfect for our family gathering

We had 10 family members and were quite comfortable. Plenty of room and bathrooms!! Great location on the Island. Only a 6 minute walk to the beach, grocery store and multiple grocery stores within 4 minute drive. Perfect pool for kiddies and a playground!! Highly recommend for any family! Padres Escapes will be our first choice if ever back in the CC area!!

Great stay

This little beauty did the trick. My kids enjoyed the beach, pool and park. If I had to recommend staying here it would be a definite yes. Beds comfy ✅ Washer/dryer is a plus ✅ Easy access to beach ✅ Pool access✅ Changes I would recommend: A new door, it is supper hard to close and lock. A different kitchen trash can. We changed out trash, but the bags that where left to throw trash out where a little to thin so when pulling trash out it ripped the bag. Plumbing had some issues, the water took a while to go down amd drain. None of the recommendations messed up our stay, there just recommendations Thank you for an awesome property

Nice condo, TVs didn’t work

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying at Padre Escapes, first time in this unit. It is a great condo- easily fit our two adults and two teens. The three bathrooms were wonderful. Nice easy drive to the beach. Fold out credenza bed is great. However we worked ao lung trying to get the main tv to work with the instructions, and couldn’t make cable or internet (Netflix, etc) work. Eventually someone came and got cable to the tvs, but only one ever connected to the internet. Kind or a bummer with teens who want to watch a movie at night. Laundry was great, beds were comfy. Would have been nice to have a broom or vacuum for the sand.

Great townhome!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great stay overall. The listing says it would fit 12 I believe but in my opinion that would not be comfortable. There were 9 of us - 3 kids, 1 infant, and 5 adults and even then we were trying to figure out where to sleep. Only disappointment is that it was difficult for my elderly in laws to go up and down the stairs and the only bed option downstairs are bunk beds. So my father in law had to sleep on the bottom bunk and my mother in law on the couch which we thought there was a pull out bed but it wasn’t. The kids had a blast at both pools and the beach! We had an incident where the roof started leaking and we called maintenance and they came right away. Only short solution was to stop using one of the showers until they could figure it out after we checked out which was the next day. Customer service offered to have extra towels brought over which was nice. We would book with them again!

Wish the splash pad worked

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were able to check into our condo on time as you still had people working on it. The entire time of our stay the splash pad right outside our back door did not work. After speaking with multiple other renters, people working on site and making a phone call and being told we would get a call back, never did. We found out on the day we were leaving, I kid you not we were loading the van Mt 4 yr old started to cry as he watched them turn on the splash pad. We found cheerios, hair knots and trash under tables and in some bed sheets. Not ours as my daughter is a red head and I have lighter hair. These were dark almost black. For what we paid I was so upset and it was not fun consoling 2 4 year olds as we left that we could not play on the splash pad. I WOULD LIKE FOR SOMEONE TO ACTUALLY CALL US BACK.

If you have kids, the location of this condo in proximity to the smaller pool and splash pad can’t be beat. From our very first stay a few years ago to now, I can definitely see some wear and tear.. couch could really use replacing, rug in the living room could use cleaning, sink in upstairs guest bedroom makes very strange sound, gate lock to the pool is very hard to open etc., but overall, it’s still a fun place to stay with a great location. Our only real complaint this time was that there was a serious lack of pillow cases and that the playground was closed for renovations.

There was a few good vrumbs in the living room, but overall it was clean. It was a short walk from the beach. There were plenty of supplies. The living room TV did not work with th wifi which was not a big deal. We were not There to watch TV. One complaint was when we extended our stay fir an extra day the wifi code was cut off and no New Code was sent. Also, we did not know it would require a new door Code and got locked out. When I called to extension our stay I should have been informed Codes would change. Over all we had a great time and will be back and will use Padre Escapes again.

Thank you for the feedback, housekeeping is a tough job and we all make mistakes from time to time. Usually our inspectors catch this type of issue, unfortunately they must’ve missed it this time. We will address it with the individuals and make sure it is better going forward. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, I had a good stay. The staff is very responsive and helpful. But I have several issues with the condo: despite several pest sprayings during my stay of six weeks, I saw a cockroach or two almost every day! Very unpleasant. The primary bathroom shower curtain needs to be replaced. It is rusty and gross. The lighting in the condo is very dim and poor. It was not as clean as I would have liked: I found dried beans and bits of popcorn on the floor when I moved in. Even though the places sleeps 12, there is only one towel rack in each bathroom which is ridiculous. The wash machine and dryer are very hard to start. Pushing the start button had to be done just so and it was hard to find that sweet spot. I was disappointed the playground was never opened. I saw no work being done on it.
