Brilliant property

Centrally located and walking distance to everywhere. The balcony is a major positive - it changed the dynamic of our stay completely. Definitely recommend.

Big disappointment!

The place has a potential for be very cute but was lacking much. The washing machine did not work, there was no trash can in the bathroom and zero storage or shelving for toiletries, no toilet paper, mold in the shower, only 2 glasses, Teflon skillets scraped off, area rug was nasty, iron but no ironing board, closet cluttered with junk, rusty refrigerator. The listing advertises 2 bathrooms, there is only one. Again, the potential is there but currently a big disappointment.

Great location with potential

This apartment is in a great location within close walking distance to metro, Rossio train station, tram 28, and all of the main sights and areas of Lisbon. Check-in was simple and the little patio had amazing views of the city and castle, which added to our stay. The air conditioner is very weak and only mildly cools the room (which is top floor and very hot). The washing machine was not working and the bathroom is like a sauna due to a hot air shaft on the other side of the window/wall. It is also a very small bathroom with no place for toiletries, which we kept in the kitchen. All of these things were tolerable, but currently the apartment has a bug problem, especially in the kitchen, which was very uncomfortable to be in. Overall, this property has a lot of positives and so much potential to be amazing, but needs some general maintenance and bug extermination if I were to recommend. Host was very friendly about making local recommendations (which we used a few of!) but was very slow to respond in general.
