A Great Experience

Well equipped and prepared cottage in a great location. Close to main shopping area and two blocks away from beach. Council car park alongside. If you're staying for a week £25 permit is a good buy for parking here and in other East Devon car parks. We.ve had a great holiday!

Great property, but inaccurate information

The property itself was spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. It is in a great place, quiet but in the town and easy walking to the sea. However, we had huge problems with trying to get the parking voucher mentioned on the website. Almost all the details are inaccurate. There is no information centre in the Jurassic centre: it moved to the esplanade some years ago and in any case does not sell the vouchers. We tried the town hall which is now a museum and the council offices who couldn't help.So THE ONLY WAY to get the voucher is online. Ignore everything else, and we hope these details will be updated on line immediately. Also, you park in the Orchard car park and other cars are hard up against the entry gate. It's difficult carrying cases between the cars. The gate itself has weeds growing on either side and there's a pile of dead wood too. It's very off-putting. This of course is not the responsibility of the property owner.Once you're inside this gate, everything is neat and tidy.
