We enjoyed a 3 night stay in late September. What fabulous views from the window and front garden! Easy walks on the doorstep and abundance of wildlife. Such a tranquil spot. Also handy for a visit to Portavadie. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. Hope to revisit.

Compact with beautiful view and beach access
Loved the location but could have done with a diagram to find it. Tv was in an odd spot for the seating arrangement. Small kitchen but fully equipped and good outside space for chilling.

Highly recommended
We had a lovely time at Kames View. The apartment is cosy and has fantastic views. The neighbours are very friendly. It has a peaceful location but is close to amenities. The road in front is quiet and the beach is perfect for young children to play. There are many fantastic walks nearby. We hope to return in the near future.

Great location and very good price
Booked Kames View through Argyll Self Catering Holidays. ASCH page is easily understood and has very good information on all properties, making choice easy. We have family nearby so knew the area, making the choice that much easier.
Communication was good throughout.
Kames View was right on the front, with view across the Kyles of Bute to Bute and also along the coast to Tighnabruaich.
Self catering, but in easy to reach was the Kames Hotel; Tide and Thyme; Station Cafe and Takeaway - and the Kames Stores shop which is open every day (and where we got some supplies on arrival, including milk, which I didn't want to take in the car for our four-and-a-half hour drive in case it 'turned' before the weekend was out.
One wee down point on the 'condition' is purely due to the coat rack coming away from the wall during the night, despite only having three lightweight jackets on it - and which I'm sure the owner will see fixed as we did let them know before we left.
All in all a good choice for us.
Sehr erholsam!

Great location and very comfortable
Small property but has everything you need. Very comfortable and ideal location for exploring the area. 10 minutes from Portavadie ferry across to Tarbert which opens up a further great area for exploring. Log fire in the living room which was a real bonus for us.
