Providing the ideal base from which to explore the outstanding North Cornwall coastline, with picturesque harbour villages, magnificent beaches, coves and inlets, Little Trevose is a real gem located in a quiet residential area and less than a mile from the River Camel and vibrant Padstow Harbour. There is excellent attention to detail throughout this lovely bright and airy property, designed to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. There is a superbly well equipped, fitted kitchen, with modern appliances and ample workspace for preparing that all important meal. The open plan kitchen/diner has a mixture of beautiful soft furnishings, sofa and chairs to sink into after a busy day of adventures, whilst the dining space has seating and space for all guests. Venture upstairs and you are treated to two stunning bedrooms. The first has a kingsize bed, with high quality linens and ensuite, with an impressive, spacious double walk-in shower. There is an excellent TV too. Bedroom two has a rather lovely double bed, ensuite featuring an equally impressive double walk in shower. Outside, an enclosed patio garden with neat furniture is a great place to enjoy morning coffee or perhaps favourite beverage at the end of your day of adventures! There is parking for one car on a private driveway and additional roadside parking.
Padstow, renowned for its super seafood restaurants, many with celebrity chef status, is a thriving harbour town, with narrow streets and harbour a hive of activity. Cafes, boutique shops and art galleries sit side by side with restaurants and pubs. Hire a bicycle here and follow the Camel Trail, 18 miles of a mainly flat pathway, as it threads its way through woodland, revealing scenic views. The trail leads to Wadebridge, an ancient town with many amenities and on to Bodmin, where it’s mysterious and atmospheric moor of the same name boasts strange rock formations and views so spectacular. The Eden Project, a world beneath huge Biomes is a unique experience, whilst the exquisite Lost Garden of Heligan are both peaceful and truly beautiful. The beaches in this area have broad expanses of golden sand, rockpools for all ages to enjoy and coves long associated with the legends and tales of smuggling! The options are endless - what shall we do tomorrow? Beach 2 ½ miles. Pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
