So pleased you had a great stay we hope to see you again in the future.
This listing is very clear this is a small cottage, and it is, but it was a lovely base for our holiday and very well-presented. Very good Comms with the owner too, thank you!
We had a lovely stay at your cottage enjoyed lovely walking and beach was fantastic. As we also live in a late 1800 cottage we know about cosyness. We will definitely return in the future

We enjoyed a lovely week of relaxation, walks and beach activities in Trevone. Old cottage is a lovely little cottage that gave us a great ‘home from home’. The facilities were exactly as described and we had no issues at all. We very much hope to come back again!

Absolutely charming little cottage in the heart of Trevone. We would come back any time. Three minutes to the Coastal Walk. Safe distance away from the hustle of Padstow.
Beautiful property in lovely, peaceful setting. Will definitely be back. Thank you

We had a lovely stay at Old cottage. We love holidaying in Trevone but are finding it increasingly hard to find properties in our budget. We felt the cottage was good value for money it’s small but has everything you need and great for anyone with a young family like ours. It was very clean and we loved being close to the beach.

Ah thank you Grace so pleased you enjoyed the cottage as much as we do. Trevone is really a very special place. We hope to see you again soon.
Excellent location, only a 10mins walk to Trevone Bay beach. Lovely quirky atmospheric cottage and nice yard to soak up the setting sun rays. Had a nice stay and would definitely use again. The only downfalls is lack of parking and also when we went to use the bbq it obviously had not been cleaned for a while and ended up cooking in oven.

Thank you for the feedback and we are so pleased you had a great time. We hope to see you again soon.
We absolutely loved our week at Old Cottage. It was the perfect sized cottage for us (2 adults and 2 children). The cottage had loads of character and the courtyard outside the back of the property was a beautiful sun trap and space to dry wetsuits etc. We had everything we needed and the location was great for the beach and coast walks. We’d love to book again for next year. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much Flona for your review and so pleased you had a great time at the cottage.
We look forward to welcoming you and your family back next year.
Excellent location only 10 minutes walk to the lovely beach. Quirky cottage with everything you need the beams are low but wasn’t a problem for us at 5ft8 any taller maybe so
The only downside was the water pressure you can’t have a shower and use the tap at the same time but that didn’t spoil the holiday

Nice old beamed cottage half way up the hill in Tevone. Great beach nearby, also close to Padstow. Local pub (Wellparc) is quite run down, but there is also Rick Steins cornish arms relatively nearby and of course padstow. Cottage is on the snug side for a family of four, it is an old cottage after all. The living room ceiling is low anyone who might be over about 5’8 may need to duck the beams. The shower (downstairs bathroom) was a bit temperamental, but setting heat to 0 and turning it on and off again did the trick, sometimes after a few attempts. Reasonably equipped kitchen. Otherwise all fine.

Thank you for your feedback. The shower I believe was down to water pressure in Trevone which sometimes happens. I am here currently and all has been ok.
The beams being a traditional cottage are low. We hope to welcome you back in the near future.

Lovely Cornish cottage in the heart of Trevone village
We enjoyed a lovely weekend at the cottage in December. The owner has created a charming home here, it's complete with original features. A great base to explore Padstow and around the north Cornish coast. We love Trevone for family holidays with our children - sandy beach is perfect for body boarding and surfing. It has a great cafe and surf shop. Rocky beach is great for dog walks year round, offers it's own natural swimming pool. Less than a minutes walk from the cottage is a farm shop offering a superb selection of local produce. From trevone we've walked to padstow, harlyn bay and Constantine beaches, all were superb. Thanks Nicky, for providing a lovely stay, we'll be back :-) The Portlock family

Quaint cottage
We enjoyed our stay in the 'Old cottage'. The situation of the cottage suited us. It was a nice comfortable cottage. The was no WiFi, unless you paid on a daily basis and no signal to make a phone call(I am with EE). It was quite cool in the evenings and it would have been nice to have had some form of heating, apart from having to buy some seasoned logs for the wood burner. The outside garden was a little sun trap but on most of the occasions we sat out the neighbours dogs were barking for a long time so we couldn't really take advantage of it.

Hi Lin
Thank you for your review of Old Cottage I just want to reassure you there is WIFi at the cottage which is free you just need to key the code in taken from the back of the wifi box at no charge. There is also additional heating in the form of storage heaters that just need to switched on at the wall. As for the dog it must have been a guest dog next door as we have never had an issue. I can only apologise. I am glad you enjoyed your stay.
Many thanks
Nicky

Best holiday in the U.K. ever.
We stayed at Old Cottage the last 2 weeks of July 2018, we were so lucky having uninterrupted sunshine everyday.
Old Cottage was gorgeous it was equipped with everything you needed for your holiday a true home away from home and we cannot thank Nicky enough for letting us stay there in her beautiful home.
Good sized lounge, kitchen, bathroom and two good sized bedrooms were perfect for my husband, my 2 daughters and myself.
Located a 5 minute walk from the beautiful beach of Trevone and a 5 minute drive from Padstow.
We had great walks in the morning and enjoyed the most fantastic sunsets in the evenings.
The farm shop is just across the road and there is a shop and restaurant on the beach.
Nicky was fantastic and made booking, arrival and departure so easy.
We will definitely be back to Old Cottage we said that we would live there permanently if we had the chance, what a life that would be.

Finding somewhere to stay out of season is always a challenge but we definitely lucked out. We had everything that was needed in the cottage for the week and it ws very homely and cosy. Fantastically situated for Trevone Beach as well as for Padstow with a great cafe in Trevone and Farm shop as well as a pub. We really enjoyed our stay
