The building has wonderful original features and is full of character; thick stone walls, some narrow slit windows, coombed ceiling upstairs and all the interior wood is Douglas Fir which has been harvested from the grounds of the farm itself, then hand crafted to achieve a high standard of detail.

The two bedrooms upstairs are spacious and light with velux windows. The cottage has its own small enclosed garden area to the front.
