1 bed/ 1 bath furnished apt! Convenient to everything in Tampa!
The unit has a full size bed in the bedroom, a kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave and sink, and a full bathroom. There is also a stacked washer and dryer in the unit if you are staying longer and need to do laundry. We recently finished making the courtyard of the building private for our guests with secure access gates with a coded entry from the parking lot and street.
Right on the border of Seminole and Tampa Heights, our location is 10 minutes from downtown Tampa, Ybor City, the Amalie Arena, the Tampa Convention Center and the Riverwalk. Our close proximity to I275, gives you easy access to the airport, USF, Moffitt Cancer Center and so much more. Seminole Heights is home to many award winning restaurants, casual bars and several new breweries. You can "yelp" Seminole heights Tampa to get an idea of the feel of the neighborhood and I think this one review sums it up pretty well..."it's the perfect balance of grit and creativity. As we speak, this historic neighborhood is in revival. It is transforming from a "has been" into the "now."....." There is still some grit in Seminole Heights as it goes thru this revival, if that's not your thing then you might not like the neighborhood.

The location is kind of shady, please be aware of your surroundings. Also, the place does need to be upgraded. The couch does need to replace it was not comfortable to sit. The TV in the bedroom was small. No coffee was present. I do give it a 4 for cleanliness.
My boyfriend and I stayed over the weekend and we absolutely loved this place! It was perfect for everything we needed and in close proximity to everything that we did. The only thing was finding it was a little bit tricky initially, but we got it all figured out. The host is wonderful and answers in a time appropriate manner. Overall, it was a perfect vacation for us. We will definitely be back!
The courtyard is amazing. The apartment was clean and exactly what I needed for the trip traveling with my 82 year old mother. Love the tiny house aspect will stay again.
The property worked well for my husband and I as we were busy during the day visiting places and did not stay for long. The outdoor space was nice but be aware it is a sketch neighborhood. We had no problems though, just asked by some pedestrians a time ir two if we could spare extra change for a burger. Haha! We enjoyed a burger from Thee Burger Spot, a must try. There were guests above us with children and it was very noisy to hear first thing in the morning. Don't try to watch a sport event late at night...I do wish for us late night people , there were more choices on the TV to unwind to. Could use a different, firmer mattress. We enjoyed the sights of Tampa and surrounding areas.

Difficult to access , very run down
I’m sure at one time it was a nice short term rental it is now run down . As well We had difficulty checking in , the code was not sent to us until 8pm after we called VRBO and messsaged manager 3 times . Poor Instructions to the actual gate entrance to the courtyard is around the side . The couch is broken not only to sit on but couldn’t use it as 2nd bed. The ottoman is broken , The toilet is not secure and unnerving as it tips so much the water in the tank splashes , there was a blow dryer from possibly the 80”s . It was so hard to turn water on / off at bath rm sink. There were only 3 glasses available aside from wine glasses, no coffee filters , coffee was in a sticky old ziplock and was stale. The toaster was old , sticky and full of crumbs . While a minor thing the shampoo & conditioner are in the wrong holders. There is no remote for the bedroom tv.there is a 3 inch step down from bedroom that is dangerous in the dark . Only 1 light bulb in each ceiling light . Ive owned air b & b’s so I know the standard a rental should be at , this is just worn out and needs attention & updating as well as better service from manager for gate and apartment access. Overall I give 2 stars with rm for a lot of improvement.
Great place. Great location. I needed to stay on more night and host was very accomodating.

Not a good neighborhood
Very clean place, but difficult to find. Our first Uber driver dropped us off at the wrong place (2 blocks away) bc he couldn’t find it. We were supposed to get in at midnight, but didn’t get in until Saturday morning & thank goodness bc the listing said it was in a family friendly neighborhood. I would not call it that. A few of our Uber drivers told us they were hesitant to come get us bc of the sketchy neighborhood!

We have pictures on the VRBO app under the guests check in instructions of the building and parking lot to help guests find us and our address is correct in google/apple maps.
This is the word for word description of the neighborhood in our listing. Guests should read the full listing description before booking a property.

My overall experience was nice at South Seminole Heights with the exception of a flooding one of the nights which left me in more than an inch high in the living, dining and bathroom area for one night and unfortunately was not cleaned up the next day . Unseen circumstances can happen but unfortunately was not responded to the next day in a timely matter with no clean up and created a 2 night challenge for me with no apology . I was disappointed with the lack of motivation to make up for the inconvenience and stress of the situation or to even offer some compensation of one or two nights taken off as a result of this .

I'm surprised to read this review as this guest texted me when she left " my stay was very good with the exception of a few glitches which were taken care of in time". Her glitches were:
She was cooking full meals and had specific pots she wanted that we did not have. We ordered her a whole new pot set and had them delivered during her stay.
We had some torrential rain that turned sideways and caused some water to come into the hallway of the building late Thursday evening and thru the front door of her unit. When she notified us, The property manager Andrew told her he'd send someone Friday morning to clean up the water. Well there was a miscommunication between Andrew and our maintenance crew so no one came Friday morning ( our fault). She then notifies us after the office closed on Friday that no one came, so Andrew came over that evening after hours ( a friday night) and took away the soaked rug by the front door and mopped up the rain water. He apologized for the miscommunication.
This is a cozy place to stay in a quiet neighborhood!
Good location, close to downtown area. I loved the armature works to have a nice lunch with a view! The patio outside of the apartments is great spot to relax and/or play a game of bean bags!
Neighborhood is shady, besides that it's a nice little place and conveniently located. Hosts were easy to reach and accommodating to my needs. Thank you!
Great place for our needs. Wanted to let you know a few things to look into. You need to clean or replace the shower head, also the bathroom sink just drips way to much and is costing you money im sure. The living area window does not lock for safety. Also a sign to tell people to step up into the bedroom is advisable also. I tripped over it the first night there, because I couldn't see it. It's a great little place, just wanted you to know.. Thank you.
I started my trip in a hotel on the water…. Next time I will book directly with inn the heights!!! This place was super chilled and comfortable way nicer then the hotel! The host and property manager were easily to get ahold of and very helpful. I enjoyed the uniqueness of the space I rented, definitely had tampa vibes. The shops and restaurants in the area were close. Very happy I found this place. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Has a kitchen with full refrigerator and a washer and dryer! What more could you ask for?!
Generous living space and bathroom. Kitchenette was sufficient and the fridge was generous. Locked gates and security cameras ensured a safe stay. Location was ideal.
Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and going to the winter nationals at Eastbay Raceway Park..
It was so easy to rent this apartment. It was really clean and quite for being on a busy road. I liked everything about this place. Little living room. Nice bathroom and the the bed was so comfortable I wanted to bring it home with us. Lol. I would stay there again if we travel to the area again.
