Hacienda Monte Cristo is a work of art. The spirit of its architecture is revealed in enchanting curves, domes and arches. The Mediterranean and Mexican styled Hacienda is located within the Country Club Estates, a quiet residential neighborhood of custom homes. Conveniently situated next to the Nicklaus-designed PGA golf course, it is also less than a minute from one of the finest white sand beaches to be found anywhere in the Riviera Maya. The 14 units share the rooftop bar, grill and pool area. The Hacienda is a short drive from downtown San Miguel.

Ideally fly into Cozumel International Airport, a 10-minute ride away -- or -- fly into Cancun, a 40-minute cab or bus to Playa Del Carmen, a short ferry ride to Cozumel and then 5-minutes to Hacienda.

We will be back!

We had a fantastic trip to Cozumel. Casa Turquesa was a perfect home base. The condo was so spacious with the 2 levels & 3 bathrooms. Very comfortable for our family of 4. Vanessa & Diana offered amazing recommendations for dining and island info that made the stay even better. Thank you.

Perfect accommodations for perfect and relaxing vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Turquesa. With three teenagers, we needed a place that was big enough to accommodate us all, and I wanted a place off the beaten path where I could cook and relax on a nearby beach. We found it all at Casa Turquesa. The property manager, Vanessa, met us on arrival and was very helpful, especially with restaurant and service recommendations. Her selections were perfect for our adventurous appetites. She was very helpful and responsive to any requests we had, but we didn't have a lot since the house was so exceptionally well stocked. I was able to indulge in shopping at the mercado and cooking traditional mexican foods (we used the outdoor grill on the kitchen balcony a lot!!) We loved the friendly neighbors and the relaxed and congenial vibe of the property. The beach was perfect for relaxing with very few people on the part closest to the property. Walked on the beach most mornings and the Condo Rooftop was perfect for sun salutations in the morning. We rented the car from ISIS at the recommendation of Diana and their service (and prices) were great. The property is just far enough away to recommend a car, while one of your neighbors didn't, and they seemed to be getting along fine! It had been over 20 years since my last trip to Cozumel, and a lot has changed, yet Casa Turquesa maintained the wonderful "old Cozumel" feelings. I hope it won't be another 20 years before we are back, and when we return, Casa Turquesa will be at the top of the list for a place to stay.

Great Vacation

My husband and I were at Casa Turquesa for 2 weeks, it was absolutely beautiful. The place was spotless upon our arrival, we were met shortly after we arrived by Claire the manager of the property, she was very helpful with our stay. There were plenty of towels and linens for our use. Beach chairs were available, the whole place is just perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need. The water cooler in kitchen was great (no worries to have to get water). Everything was convenient for us. I would recommend a car as this villa is not really in walking distance to town. We enjoyed driving to SkyReef and Playa Corona to snorkel, eat and drink. We visited Buccanos, the snorkeling was nice but restaurant was a little pricy and not for us. We went on the Pirate Dinner Cruise, I would recommend that to adults (lots of fun). The grocery stores were convenient, we also drove to the East side of the island and went to some beautiful beaches. All in all it was a great vacation. We rented car from Fox rental it was great too.

Great, quiet home base for our family

This property was exactly as described. It was clean and very comfortable and the property manager was very easy to work with, although we never required her assistance during our stay. The 2-story condo gave us plenty of space so our teenage kid could sleep in while we hung out downstairs, and we took advantage of the pool a couple times. This is a nice place for people who don't want to party at all times yet it was an easy 10-minute drive to get to town. Bikes would work pretty well from here as well, I think. It was very quiet every night after 10 and the few neighbors we met were very sociable. The beach was easy to get to but unfortunately there was a residual storm that blew a bunch of trash on the beach and the water was very choppy so we didn't use it for our stay. The property manager said that was very unusual so it's probably not something most people will experience. All in all, a great time, the owners were very easy to deal with, and we would definitely rent this place again.

Relaxing stay away from crowds

Thank you Diana for such a relaxing getaway! Your property is clean and easily accessible with all the creature comforts of home. The property manager made sure everything was taken care of, too! We absolutely loved the rooftop patio as well as the quiet pool area and new chairs. We thought we were ready to try another location in the tropics but decided there's so much more to explore that what we had initially thought! This was our first time staying at the "north end" and were pleasantly surprised with all it had to offer. The walking path was beautiful for our morning walks and even discovered a couple new favorite places: Buccanos was a great place to hang out without having to travel in to town during the day. We look forward to coming back next year and exploring more of the beautiful island.

Paradise

Perfect location and it is so quiet and clean. Also, Karen made sure that we had everything we needed when we arrived, encluding ice cold beer! Perfect Accommodations!

This condo provides the best Cozumel has to offer. The property is clean and well-maintained with complete amenities so thoughtfully provided, from wireless connection and local cell phone to a well-equipped kitchen and even beach toys for the children. The location is absolutely the best on the island, a short walk to the prettiest beach we saw yet in a very quiet area away from the crowds. This condo is absolutely the choice unit on the property with four balconies overlooking a beautiful pool. It is quite spacious and very comfortable. We felt very safe there and the neighbors were friendly and helpful with suggestions. The owner and the property manager could not have been nicer, both of whom went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and our questions answered. We would definitely recommend this property to others and, in fact, would love to return ourselves. Due to its location a short drive from the center of town, I would recommend renting a car to give quick, easy access to restaurants, shopping, etc. We enjoyed a drive around the entire island one afternoon, and returned back to Casa Turquesa, knowing that we had, indeed, picked the best spot on the island!! As for restaurants, Casa Denis, just off the main plaza, is the oldest restaurant there and a great place for local food. Del Sur, along with wonderful meats, serves the best empanadas I've ever had! Thanks for a wonderful first visit to Cozumel!

Magnificant!

Our stay at the Hacienda was absolutely perfect. Everything you could imagine and more. The location is perfect on the north end of town, nice and quite. You can walk on the beach for miles and take in the awesome blue waters. The photos did not do justice to just how beautiful the hacienda is. One of the cleanest places I have ever been along with all aminities at your fingertips. Diana's helpful suggestions on restaurants in the area were excellent. Guido's is a MUST! We can't wait for our return next year.

TOTAL RELAXATION

Casa Turquesa was just as beautiful, serene and accommodating as was shown in the listing. The amenities were plentiful and the common grounds were very well groomed. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the ocean beaches were magnificent. Snorkeling was excellent. We followed the dining suggestions of the owner and on-site property manager and ventured out away from the tdowntown ourist area. The restaurant suggestions were superb and the service excellent. A rental car was the best mode of travel for our visit. What a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Wonderful Stay at Casa Turquesa

We just returned from our first trip to Cozumel. Hacienda Monte Cristo was even more beautiful than the pictures could have shown! The condo was in excellent condition and provided more than enough space for the four of us. The four balconies provided several pleasant nights of enjoying the beautiful weather. The location was great, a little north of town but easily accessible by taxi. Diana was extremely helpful and gave us several great recommendations, from restaurants to the dive shop we used all week. We would highly recommend Aqua Safari for all of your diving needs! Bertha, the property manager, was also quite helpful and made sure we had everything we needed from the start of our vacation. The built-in gas grill was a great feature for nights we decided to stay in! Make sure to try Pescaderia San Carlos for the freshest fish in town, you can pick your own! Casa Mission was both a beautiful setting and a memorable meal. We loved our stay at Casa Turquesa and hope to return soon!

Paradise Found

Casa Turquesa is a very comfortable and beautiful home away from home, you won't want to leave. From the tropical decor and the well kept grounds to the rooftop bar, its an awesome escape from reality. The beach is great for just relaxing or taking a long morning stroll. The neighbors there are also very friendly. La Missione is a great place to eat as is LaPerlita, with delicious coconut encrusted lionfish. Its a place we will definetly go back to!

a lovely home away from home.

Hacienda Monte christo is very nice and clean. very well maintained. Diana has everything you could possibly need while staying at casa turquesa. I really like that the beach access is nice and close and while there in november-december there were some pretty windy days so we had the pleasure of watching the kite surfers right off our beach access! and this time of year we got to see the Ironman compitition AWESOME! We found a place down the road called the bistro next door to coral princess that has great snorkeling,a pool , hot tub and plenty of seating/hamocks. all they ask is that you eat or drink something while enjoying your visit. Its a boutique hotel/resort so its decorated so cute and everything is for sale! casa turquesa is around 3 miles from the plaza so its very quiet. We rented a car from margarite while there. she is also great to do business with. thanks for the recomendation diana =) my favorite places to eat are chilangos on 30th and for the best pizza ever!!!! kiwi's on 5th hand tossed dough and sauce made daily mmmmm. Ive been visiting the island since the 90's and diana's casa is my favorite! the roof top is a gorgeous view for sunsets. Thanks diana for all your help and recomendations we really enjoyed our time at casa turquesa

Easter Holiday

We just returned from our 9th trip to the island and the whole family agrees one of the best.Your condo was fairly represented in the description by both the photos and the listing. The representative that showed us around was wonderful. If you like Cozumel and you want some peace and quite you can't go wrong with this condo. Our only sugestion would be to have some beach chairs available for your guests.

The Best Ever!!!!!

Dave and Diana, what a wonderful home you have, and I cannot thank you enough for sharing your little chunk of paradise. We loved sitting up on the roof-top deck, you can see all the stars, absolutely fabulous. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the balcony overlooking the pool. Your condo offers all the conveniences of home. It was our first visit to the Island and we can’t wait to return. We hope to stay in your fabulous home again. Your restaurant recommendations were all wonderful, loved each and every one of them! Buccannos Beach Club was the perfect place to sit, relax, snorkel and be waited on during the day. Oh, and we must not forget the beachside massage!! The sunset at the Money Bar (which was my absolute favorite place) was spectacular. The locals, all so friendly, and extremely helpful.

What makes this property unique

North location, very quiet and private. Walking distance to Cozumel Country Club. A long sandy stretch of beach, walk in, no rocks. We have an incredible rooftop bar with swinging bar stools and a panoramic ocean view! This complex is unlike any structure on the island. Very charming. No rectangular box construction. A truly magical place. If you prefer not to rent a car, the Melia hotel is a just outside the entrance to our neighborhood, there are always taxi's available. Some guests have had the same taxi for their entire stay. They simply call from the complimentary cell we provide and the taxi picks you up at Casa Turquesa!
