About the host
Hosted by Andrea Prior

I am a children's author and illustrator and live in the Cotswolds with my husband. I was born in Newcastle and lived in Durham until going to University and later in life couldn't resist buying Shutters which we lovingly renovated and as well as enjoying the house ourselves we love for others to enjoy it too and welcome guests from across the world. We have many external 5 Star reviews and if you would like access to them please contact me.
Why they chose this property
Beyond the garden the house looks onto an open field with horses and is a perfect pastoral scene. Beyond that is Beamish woods which is only a short walk away. There is a cycle and walking path running directly behind the house and adds to the feeling of quiet space.
What makes this property unique
What our guests tell us about our home is that it is a peaceful, quiet haven and a real ‘home from home’. The house is spacious and well equipped and with a well kept private garden. We love to keep a beautiful home and our guests always comment upon how clean and tidy the house is. Many guests return year on year. Please ask if you would like to receive a copy of our 5 star external reviews.
