Take a trip to nearby Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens or to Dorchester, the inspiration for "Casterbridge" in Thomas Hardy's novels. Both are located along the scenic coastal road. You could also just go to West Bay; the scenery along the Dorset Heritage Coast is breath-taking.
