A Pleasant Stay
The accommodation is conveniently located near to the beautiful City centre. The kitchen, bedroom and particularly the bathroom were well appointed and generally clean. The bed was comfortable. The inclusion of bath and hand towels and soaps was welcome, and the plentiful supply of sachets of tea, coffee and milk was a welcome and pleasant surprise. Car park access was good and very reasonably priced (£6 per day and £2 on Sunday).
The curtains in the living room area were partially unhooked and did not fit or close well. On arrival, there was dust and fluff on the floor, and we found a small dead slug on the carpet in the entrance to the bedroom. The occupants of the apartment above were noisy up to around 11pm and almost every sound they made, including talking and creaking floors, could be heard in our apartment. Although nothing to do with the property itself and beyond your control, Wellington Street was dirty and the presence of dog excrement and human spittle on pavements was common.
