About this property

Cosy dog friendly self contained Annexe near Cheltenham & The Cotswolds

1-2 person self catering ground floor annexe set in a peaceful 5 and half acre smallholding surrounded by countryside and farmland. With its own private enclosed garden and a hay field for dog exercise. Also there are views on a clear day of the Malvern Hills, Cleeve Hill, Leckhampton Hill, Crickley Hill and the famous Cheese Rolling Hill. Fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar. Modern bathroom with a shower. A lovely lounge/diner filled with natural light that looks out to the garden. From the living room, patio doors open up to the garden, patio, seating and BBQ area.
A cosy bedroom with a king size bed and a view of the hay field. It's an ideal property for time away, visiting family or on business in the area with Cheltenham 4.5 miles, Cotswold nearby and M5 Motorway easily accessible.
Access to the property is via a no through farm track and close to local amenities. We are on site to help if needed. On arrival the Annexe is accessed by key lock. A full information folder is in the property and a welcome pack to get you started.

2 well behaved dogs welcome with additional pet fee. If booking via Expedia then please contact us so we are able to add this on to your booking.

We had a wonderful stay in a very clean and exceptional annex. Karen and Martin were excellent host (our dogs loved them that much that they didn't want to leave). They made sure we had everyhing that we needed. We are definitely looking to return.

Great annex it a wonderfully peaceful location. Fantastic friendly host give a great welcome, very clean and comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing break. Nice welcome pack for us and are dog who was made very welcome with bowls and towels in case you needed them. Great to be able to walk out the door and into the country side. A perfect place to stay for a relaxing break or to explore the local area.

Absolutely perfect, fully self contained accommodation. Fantastic location, out in the countryside while also not to far from the city, supermarkets etc. Karen and Martin were great, pleasant to meet in the first place, checking in a few times to check if anything was needed (fresh sheets or towels etc). Should i need to visit this area again checking if I can stay here again would be at the top of my priority list. Many thanks Karen and Martin for a great stay.

Fantastic little annexe

Everything you would want in a holiday stay...immaculately clean, well appointed and equipped, fantastic secure outside space for our dog, very easily accessible from the motorway and an easy drive to Cheltenham and other beautiful places in the Cotswolds. This is definitely one of the best places we've stayed in. the owners were lovely and on hand if we needed them, which we did not -they really had thought of everything to make the stay perfect.

A little gem

Karen is such a wonderful host, she keeps the farm annex spotless. I've stayed here for three years now, and it still looks brand new. A perfect little getaway for a couple, and dog lovers. Very quiet, private location out in the Cotswold countryside.

Beautiful, spacious property

We really enjoyed our stay at the Annexe. The property is well equipped, spotlessly clean, in a quiet, remote location. The owners went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, but allowing for early check in, late check out, providing a lovely welcome pack for us as well as our dog, and by checking in regularly (via text messages) to see if we needed anything. The garden is lovely and secure, the house is beautiful. I can't imagine a more perfect place for a short stay.

Perfect place to stay

Really can't fault this lovely property for two. Only sorry we couldn't bring our dog this time as he would have loved the enclosed garden and lovely walks from the front door. We both slept really well as the Annexe is just so peaceful and comfortable. The welcome pack makes "settling in" so much easier. Nothing is too much trouble for our lovely hosts. Thank you - we definitely hope to visit again!

The overall experience here raises the bar in self catering accommodation. From the excellent and spotless rooms to the very generous provision of milk, juice and other things too numerous to mention .. this was the best provided Self catering property we have stayed in (and we have stayed in many). Perfect stay

This little house on a farm is the perfect location for visiting Cheltenham and the rest of the Cotswolds. Karen and Martin are very nice hosts. The house has everything you need and more. By arrival you get a nice package of treats for people and the dog! The house is super clean, very good bed, television with access to Netflix and a small but nice garden. The house has only a ground floor what perfect is for a little dog. The garden is fenced. We surely come back!

Just brilliant every time

Our ,third Visit here and again Karen and Martin did not disappoint. Lovely clean environment, it's Christmas time and the effort was made to put decorations in which was lovely. Nice treats upon arrival for us and our dog teddy. The grounds looked beautiful in the snow! I'm sure we will be back for a fourth visit. Tha KS guys !

A countryside retreat on the edge of a city

Fantastic home

I’ve stayed at dozens of VBRO properties over the years and this is one of the absolute best. Karen’s attention to detail on even the smallest thoughtful items was amazing. Karen checked in several times to insure everything was going well. The fittings, furnishings and amenities were all First Class. Can unreservedly recommend to even most discerning guests.

Karen is a self-employed gardener, loves to see the wildlife and walking.

We would like you to stay at our property as its situated in a rural peaceful area. You have your own enclosed garden.
The annexe is a cosy self contained property with a homely feel with everything you need away from home.
We live on site so we are there to help or advice.

What makes this property unique

Surrounded by peaceful countryside. We have the most amazing sunsets which stretch across the horizon. Birdsong fills the air first thing and occasionally see the deer and Mr fox. There are public rights of way from the property if you enjoy walking.
