During the summer, the castle also hosts touring theatre groups for performances. With its numerous pubs, live music, and festivals, Bishop's Castle makes an excellent destination for a day or night out, just a few miles to the south. You can go for a walk or take a bike ride in the surrounding countryside, which has a wide range of difficulty levels. Snowdonia National Park, Cardigan Bay, or the Shropshire Hills AONB are all options for a day trip if you'd like to explore more of Wales. It's a wonderful place to spend some time.
