About this property

3 Bed in Llangadfan (oc-wae284)

Sitting in a secluded rural location with stunning views, this beautiful former farmhouse now converted provides luxurious accommodation. The owners are mindful of energy efficiency. The cottage's eco credentials include solar power, and water from a borehole, with waste water returned back into the ground via the treatment plant in the field. The firewood for the log burner and hot tub comes from fall timber sourced from a local family business 3 miles away. Nestled amidst nature, the shepherd's hut is a charming retreat that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. With two comfortable chairs positioned to capture the stunning landscape, it serves as a true paradise for birdwatchers. Complete with blankets and pillows, the hut invites you to relax and unwind in comfort after a day of exploring the great outdoors.

It’s close to local amenities and the coast is within reach. With features including a hot tub, a wood burner, two living areas with TVs, and a table tennis table, it’s perfect for a family group including Fido.

This spacious detached dog friendly house has been tastefully designed with great attention to detail and respect for its original features. Enter the porch and cloakroom/WC, hang up your coat and head into the snug, with a cute reading nook. Go through to the cosy sitting room, with a wood burner in the huge stone fireplace and a TV for relaxing evenings in. The stylish kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook tasty meals to enjoy in the stunning dining room. Downstairs is a TV lounge, perfect for older kids and movie nights, with a Smart TV/DVD player. There are three pretty, characterful bedrooms on the first floor: a king, a double and a single . The king has an en-suite shower room with amazing views; there’s a second shower room as well. Enjoy the spacious garden relaxing in the wood-fired hot tub, sipping drinks on the patio, and playing table tennis next to the neighbouring barn, where you can store bikes too.

Surrounded by beautiful Mid Wales countryside, there’s excellent walking right from the door on Glyndwr’s Way national trail, which runs alongside the property and Snowdonia National Park is just 8 miles away. The villages of Llangadfan (1 mile), with a hotel restaurant, and Llanerfyl, home to a shop, (2.5 miles) are nearby. Head to Llanfair Caereinion (8 miles) for a ride down the valley on a steam train on the Welshpool–Llanfair Caereinion Light Railway and go fishing at Lake Vyrnwy (9 miles).
