Our beautiful georgian barn cottage, dating from 1760, sits overlooking a half acre lake and surrounding parkland setting. Positioned in the peaceful countryside, yet only 15mins from Chester city centre and many attractions.
It offers two very spacious double bedrooms with luxury superking 6ft beds. The second bedroom has a zip and link option allowing for two single beds. The cottage is furnished throughout with 18th century antique furniture and opulent sofas. Cosy and homely, a hidden gem!

Like a secret oasis where we lived like Kings and Queens!

I cannot recommend this property enough! I wanted to treat my American Aunt to an elegant cottage in Cheshire and this place surpassed our expectations! The guest properties have been newly designed and kitted out with a fabulous kitchen, travertine tiled bathrooms (practically 2 ensuites!), rain showers with good water pressure, and the bedrooms had ample wardrobe and even closet space! It's clear they put much love into creating a very elegant and homely enenvironment for their guests to feel like royalty! Henri and his family were so welcoming and charming. After a two-week whistle-stop tour around Northern England and Ireland, this is the place my Aunt wants to come back to and 'stay a week with my girlfriends!' ...and who knows? I might just head back with my watercolours to have a peaceful week painting the landscape and listening to the swifts tittering in the trees! Thanks again for a special Coronation weekend. It could not have been lovlier!

The cottage was beautiful and spotless. Has everything we needed for a relaxing , but busy break. Central for all our travel needs. Would highly recommend this cottage in it beautiful picturesque setting. Owners are very friendly and approachable. Thank you for having us.
