Pros: location, 3 bathrooms, pretty clean.
Cons: (there are several) 4 flights of stairs leading to a remote 4th floor flat. This was not well represented in the description. No elevator meant hauling heavy luggage. If you have any muscular or skeletal issues, keep this in mind.
It takes 4, sometimes 5, SEPARATE keys to get into the flat -and there is only one set of keys! This meant we all had to come and go at the same time. Huge pain in the backside when it came to sightseeing. Internet/WiFi was spotty, so our phone and laptop communication was unpredictable.
Since we arrived at 9:30am, we paid extra to store our luggage a bit earlier than the 3pm check in, at the flat. The place hadn’t been cleaned, so the earliest we could drop off was noon. We lugged our luggage around the neighborhood for 2 1/2 hours until that time.
At noon we checked in and stored our 3 suitcases. We were told at that time that the cleaners would be there for an hour -which would be 13:00, and that we were welcome to come back then. Great, however at 16:15 the cleaning person was still there. My husband’s hip was so sore from the luggage and stair fiasco, that he just couldn’t move and had to lay on a bed as they cleaned around him.
“Kitchenette” consists of a hot plate, small table for two, microwave, minibar refrigerator, and a bed…yes, a bed.
There is no living room.
Noisy neighbors.
Be mindful of:
-showers are extremely slippery.
-know emergency exit in case of fire.
